OK this recruiting class keeps getting better and better. Who do we have left that is interested in ND, who is next, and if any who do you think might decommit?

Here are the (4) I think should fill out this class.....

Kenneth Page OL
Jonathan Baldwin WR
Gerell Robinson ATH
Trevor Robinson OL

Just keep the snowball running. All these other teams have games to worry about. What losers. 2007 is all about getting the best class, morons have no clue. I think we will get 2 out of the 4.

Would love to see Baldwin come on board! Another reciever couldn't hurt at all.

OL couldn't hurt either. good recievers aren't going to perform without a good line to give them time. I'm holding on for Page and Robinson

According to Scout, here are the remaining prospects who have not committed to us or another school:
QB 1 Terrelle Pryor
OG 1 Josh Jenkins
DE 2 Shayne Hale
SLB 3 Brendan Beal
WR 9 Deion Walker
OG 6 Trevor Robinson
RB 11 Cyrus Gray
WR 11 Jonathan Baldwin
OG 12 Kenneth Page
WR 15 Kenny Tate
OG 15 Khaled Holmes
WR 17 Gerell Robinson
RB 20 Ryan Williams
RB 31 Chris Harper
OG 36 Andrew Sampson
RB 42 Darius Willis
DE 54 Sam Robey
DE 73 Donte Rumph
WR 93 Martavious Odoms

Of those on the list, Sampson, Willis, Robey and Rumph have NOT received offers. The ones in bold have expressed the most interest. Gerrell Robinson's name has popped up alot lately, but I don't know whether his interest in ND is high or medium compared to other schools. Is Sampson the one who originally committed to Nebraska and is another possible de-commit?

Of those left with offers, that we have any real shot at, I say we get two more:

Page - Seems like he was close to pulling the trigger but we get him eventually
T Robinson - 50/50 or better shot, he may be waiting on UN, but we could very well get him
G Robinson - Maybe the change of heart was due to the ND offer for a wide receiver?
J Baldwin - I don't get a good vibe, talented HUGE kid but I think Pitt gets him

It will be hard to pull Baldwin from Pitt with all his family ties there.

Tate never recieved an offer either, and most of those guys have zero interest in ND, or ND has zero interest in them. The Scout national database is Notoriously outdated or inaccuarte.

Realistically this is who ND has offered, and who they still have some chance of landing:

Trevor Robinson
Kenny Page
Cyrus Gray
Ryan Williams
Gerell Robinson
Jonathan Baldwin
Deion Walker
Chris Harper
Datone Jones

Of those those several are longshots or are turning into one for one reason or another. Those would be:

Ryan Williams
Deion Walker
Chris Harper
Datone Jones
Chris Harper

If I could pick who I would like to finish out the class I would like:

Trevor Robinson
Kenny Page
Jonathan Baldwin
Cryus Gray or Datone Jones

I think they have the best chances of ending up with:

Trevor Robinson
Kenny Page
Gerell Robinson
Cyrus Gray

(While they might take another WR in the 25 slot, I personally think it's unlily that they'll want to take 4 WR's in this class, and the 25 slot wouldn't be used unless it was for C.Gray, or D.Jones.)

The most likely guys to be next would seem to be either T.Robinson, K.Page, or C.Gray is he likes his visit to the Navy game.

I don't think I forgot about anyone, sorry if I did.

Exactly my thoughts! We NEED that OL and Page and Robinson would be GREAT additions. Baldwin would be a nice add as well, but I feel that the OL is a vital area to continue to pursue!!!

After watching out team this year I wouldn't mind if every player we took this year was an OL candidate.

Robinson - OL

This gives us 25 and a damn good class.

Apparently Robinson's family has ties to Tom Osborne somehow. I don't know if that will play a big factor in his decision. Also Nebraska got a little damage control last night receiving a commitment from the top juco player in the country Simi Kuli. This may also be a factor in his decision.

As we've seen this year. There is no doubt in my mind if that Clausen was on one of the top current teams right now he would be lighting it up this season and the same can be said about the talented RB's.

There is no doubt that they will take any of the OL that they've offered but I hope they don't limited how many WR's they take. Because IMO you can't turn down talent like Walker, Baldwin, Robinson or Harper they are too talented to so. ND not winning a national championship next season so I want as many playmakers as possible because if everything goes right the '09 season this team should hitting it's stride and really start competing for it all.
