Well, after BC has dropped the second ball they should have intercepted, I will say these two things:

1. A lot of you jumped the shark. One drive and you want Weis to bench Clausen for the rest of the season?

2. Sharpley reads defenses better than Clausen, for sure. But he also throws way off target more often than Clausen. I would expect a Jr. to read defenses, and be able to know where to go with the ball, better than a freshman.

I have noticed the same things. Sharpley is better right now, but the gap isn't as large as originally thought.

Great play by Sharpley but amazing awareness by Carlson to give him a target. Sharpley would be a very good QB right now if he was consistent. He has made more plays than Clausen, but also just as many terrible throws.
