I'm a big ND homer, But face the facts people, Weis is not a head coach. So what he recruits well, showing those young kids his SB rings can't hide the fact he can't coach.

Sorry, I just disagree. Weis has proven over the past two seasons that he at the very least has the potential to be a great coach. Has he looked like it this year? Of course not. But should we fire him, under these circumstances? That would be ludicrous. We can't expect him to pick up right where he left off with all of the great players he lost from last year, since all of the new guys are learning the schemes and whatnot. Give the guy a break! It's okay to be average one year if it helps us the next five! If this continues into next year, however, I'll be reacting like you are now. For the moment, it's premature.

Where in the hell are GOLDEN TATE AND ARMANDO ALLEN today? I can't believe that we haven't given each of them 5 touches so far. We can't do a thing on offense unless CW gets some players in there that are capable of making a big play. Let's face it, this is NOT the team that is going to have many (if any) 15+ play drives!

Well he just threw a pick, Sharps deserves a chance. He has had about 3 inaccurate throws today, Ryan has 3 or 4 as well but he also as made quite a few throws. It's obvious Clausen is either still feeling the effects of surgery, or he just isn't ready to play right now.

Keeping Jimmy in is throwing in the towel on the season (not that there's much of a towel to throw in)....the only reason to keep him in is to hope he goes through alot of pain now and avoids it next season. We'd win more games this year with Sharpley in. I think we could win today and have a huge friggin' upset if Sharpley played. The OL at times has given JC plenty of time to throw and he's done jack shit with it. This is Weis being stubborn, nothing more.

Your horrible period. We should throw you under a bus like you have our true freshman QB. Sharps deserves a shot because Clausen is obviosuly still feeling effects from the injury against Purdue, or the arm surgery but C'mon Clausen isn't exactly the problem with our offense currently.
