What does everbody else think about the keys to victory?

Convert on third- and fourth- and short.

Force turnovers.

Don't give up long passing plays.

Stop being stupid.

If we can put together two halves of solid football, I think we have a shot.

UCLA has a tremendous pass rush so the only way that we win this game is by protecting the QB. It certainly doesn't help that this is our biggest weakness. I do think that the Irish win this game and I am excited because it will be the first time I will ever see the Irish live.

- O-Line needs to start showing that Nasty streak that Weis has been promising and man handle the UCLA D-line!

- Jimmy/Evan must limit mistakes especially in the Red Zone

- SMASH MOUTH football!!! Line our big backs up and tell them here we come and make them pay for tackling us! At this point we are not going to out finesse anyone so lets wear them down!

- Defense must create turnovers

- Big play on special teams

What does everbody else think about the keys to victory?

Screw establishing the running game. That is not this team's identity. You come out with the gameplan we had in the 2nd half vs. Purdue and keep their DB's honest on Tate and Kumara, and their LB's aware of Carlson. That will open up the run game. The pass sets up the run with this team, this year. I also think this team is finally take the opening kickoff and not have to worry about a 3 and out or a bad snap.

I had not seen a victory in person since my senior year ('96 vs. Rutgers), until Penn State and UCLA last year. Your streak too shall end.
