Thats because we SUCK!!! Calm on guys stop drinking the Kool-aid and face it that we will not do anything this year. Its going to take 2-3 more years to be back to the top ten. Lets hope Weis and Brown keep on the recruits.

I can handle a bad year what I can't handle is losing our recruiting status a having 5 bad years.

I agree.

When the play by play booth says the O line can't block anybody, it tells us the coaching at O line stinks, the talent stinks and they have to be demoralized.

WORST O LINE IN THE NATION

Weis has done a terrible job this year. I hope this doesn't ruin recruiting, or we are really in trouble.

This is even worse than the Faust years!!!

We have Mich St., Purdue, Usc, BC, Navy (may win) and etc. Is this 5 more losses????

Thats a great point! There is a possibility of only beating Air Force and Duke! Navy always plays tough, and unless they think of doing something drastic we are in trouble for recruits. Who wants to go to a school where you're outscored 112-13 in the first three games?

Though on the bright side, next season we'll have 8 returning starters instead of 3 (if we're lucky and Clausen doesn't end up in little pieces after the USC or UCLA game), and with every snap we gain experience. Whatdya say boys! Keep your heads up!

Wow.

Wow.

That was really awful. I am going out to buy baby clothes.

And that's all I have to say about that.

(For now.)

And I wouldn't even take Air Force for granted...they just beat a reasonably good TCU team. I think most reasonable people understood this was going to be a transition year on defense. Our d-line is thin, but we have help on the way as long as the recruits remain committed. As for the o-line, we need to get back to fundamentals. I think with aggressive coaching, we can get things on the right track, win a game or two this season and keep young Clausen from getting killed. Next year, the schedule is obviously more favorable for making it back to a winning record. As you mentioned mikeoc61, perhaps most importantly, we'll have a year worth of hard knocks and experience under our belt. Two years from now, I predict we'll be in contention for a BCS game and three years from now, we'll be in the national championship hunt.

I'm not trolling, flaming, etc., but the way we look right now, I'm very concerned two streaks could come to an end this season. First, Navy always plays us reasonably well.
Think that's very much in jeopardy (said so in the PSU thread)...you know what though, I don't care. Those Navy kids play their balls off...I'd almost rather see us go winless than maybe get one or two and have people feeling good about a team where there's nothing to feel good about. They need to go to the lowest of lows.
