Has anyone seen some of the other O-linemen in the game. Romine, Carfuel, Stewart, Olsen etc.

Really they can't be any worse at this point.

I really want to see Weis or any coach just sit down the O-line and get in there face playing O-line is about pride, determination and heart. These guys have shown zero in those three departments.


BTW our seniors need to step up. Wooden has been lousy. Sullivan sets the tone for the game with the first play. Thomas ruins the only decent field position we had all game with a stupid penalty. These guys have to lead the way and when our frosh's and soph's see our seniors giving up it feeds down to the rest of the team. Other than Carlson, Laws, Zbikowski and Crum our seniors have shown nothing all year!

Weiss will be on the hot seat, i can tell you that. i know he's done well in his first 2 years... but this is really bad. I DO think he will get himself a better O line coach, and with all of the youth and talent they have, they will get better, but it just might not happen this year with the retarded schedule they have.... the next 6 games are all brutal. Who is making these schedules? Can't we get Navy early one year please... NEVER has a team needed a confidence game more than ND does. MSU will spank us next week unless things turn quickly.

Turkovich false start causes CW to finally bring in a different lineman. Come on Olsen, lets see something. Next I'd like to see Duncan benched for another youngster. Lets get these kids on the field and see if they can block anybody.

Claussen sacked again. That one looked like it hurt. He is a tough kid though because he keeps getting up.

Maybe if we put 9 guys on the line to block and threw long balls to Golden Tate every play we would have a chance to throw the ball downfield...because otherwise all we can do is throw screens because they sack Jimmy every time he drops back.

Vernaglia missed a tackle. Put his ass on the bench and bring in Toryan Smith. I am sick of every senior on this team with the exception of Trevor Laws. Every other senior should be benched and replaced by a youngster.

Ya know another thought. Why isn't notre dame making any sacks on Mallet? 0 sacks for the day. If C.B. is as good as he is presumed to be, why are we not putting all kinds of pressure on their freshman quarterback. Seemed to work very well for the last three teams we've played against us. I think TACKLING may be a big issue with our D. They are getting to the ball most of the time just can't tackle whover has it. Especially Hart.

our blitzes our terrible they leave the secondary out to dry, i dont think they ever get to the QB, the dont even pressure the QB to force bad throws. I think that john ryan is too slow to play OLB in the 3-4 i do not like what i see from him at all.

I'm not trolling, flaming, etc., but the way we look right now, I'm very concerned two streaks could come to an end this season. First, Navy always plays us reasonably well. We've got to win that one. Secondly, I have the feeling Duke will come to South Bend riding a gazillion game losing streak...

yeah i notices the tackling has been very poor also, even in the beggining of the game when they were not tired the tackling was not good. I cannot wait for the likes of Filer, Flemming and McDonald to get here.

My main concern. This season is not going to be good that's already been proven. How much effect is going to have on the future of N.D. football??? As far as the line goes, I need some facts to make me have a better outlook for how they are going to perform next year.

I know the Defense has been on the field alot, but we have to be able to stop the run. It's not like they are doing anything special. They are lining up and running it down our throats. This is a big concern.
