Auburn is down to Miss St. 10 - 0 at home, and Michigan St. has their hands full with Pitt. It's 14 - 7 State in the 2nd, but Pitt is driving just past midfield.

Miss St has increased their lead to 13 - 0 of Auburn, and The Citadel has just tied Wisconsin at 21.

Miss St. completely chocked away their 13 point lead to fall behind 14 -13 to Aub. at halftime.

The Big Tweleven sure isn't looking too hot today.

Let's hope we can keep that trend going for them.

MSU eventually squeaked it out against Pitt, and so did Wisconsin against The Citadel, but Auburn fell again, this time to Miss St.

BAD NEWS:

BC 24 vs GT 10 --GULP! We get beat by BC like we got beat by Michigan and GT and I will crawl under a rock for the rest of the year.

USC 49 vs Nebraska 31 -- double gulp!! I think we all know how this one will turn out...same as last year.

Airforce 20 vs TCU 17 --- one of those gimme last 4 is no longer a gimme.

GOOD NEWS:

MSU 17 vs Pitt 13 --MSU barely beat a VERY beat up Pitt team...I think we might actually have a chance here.

Utah 44 vs UCLA 6 -- great news! UCLA is not as good as originally expected. They got beat up by an 0-2 Utah team that got beat by Air Force the week before.

At the beginning of the year I thought 5-7 or 6-6...now I am leaning towards 3-9 :puke:

Yeah, I don't even want to think about it. Air Force is never a pushover: they challenged us last year, and nearly beat Tennessee with that crazy-ass offense. Navy will be tough as heck. BC looks good. Stanford has played us tough of late ... ohh, I'm getting a headache.

I watch a lot of other games on Sat. The difference I see right now between ND and all other teams is playmakers. Who is going to step up and make plays?

That's the ONLY difference? :)

well, that and our lack of toughness and lack of fire and emotion.......my dad has said this for as long as i can remember "Football is about emotion." Period. yes, you must harness it because raw emotion can be chaotic, but it is a game of pure emotion, especially along the defense, and the offensive line........it's about taking pride in what you do, and doing it better than the guy across from you no matter how better someone else says he is than you. If ND goes back and starts hittin each other this week, maybe some of that fire will come back along w/the soreness and toughness will begin to develop.....we can only hope!
