Thought this bowl prediction was interesting...ND against Texas Tech in the Independence Bowl:

In addition, SI has ND finishing with a 7-5 record...going into the bowl game of course.

I like the opponent(growing up about 2 hours from Tech) but not the location. I still think we'll go to either the Gator or Cotton, and I also dont see Tech being the Big XII #7 team. Itll be UT, Col, OU, A&M, Tech, K-State. So give me Irish and Raiders in Dallas, and I'll be happy.

Everyone should be glad to know I will not attend ND's Bowl Game this year since ND is 0-5 when I am in attendence in bowl games. This spans 16 years I believe. I am going to take one for the team unitl they win one

They signed a contract with them that would make going to a bowl game there would be almost automatic since there is such a heavy concentration of Naval personel in San Diego.

I could live w/ ND against Texas Tech in the Independence Bowl. It would be a winnable game, plus on a Sunday game and being off work due to the holidays the next couple days after .... SWEET!

With our history of giving up big plays, Tech would be one that Im extremely concerned about. Mike Leach is like the second coming of Spurrier without all the annoying ego. He simply produces amazing offenses.
