For some reason... i dont think i could see Jim Harbaugh ever coaching UM... I wish he would as much as i dont like them, i think he would send the program down the tubes. But i think somebody more qualified and already in the UM system will end up coaching after Carr for quite a while.

Didn't he say this quite some time ago? Did it just become news again because Carr responded?

SI.com - NCAA Football - Michigan's Carr, Hart*lash out on Harbaugh - Thursday August 2, 2007 2:23PM

Harbaugh push some buttons with this statement. Yes he's coaches at Stanford and seems a little pompous, but he's a 100% right.

Not that I'm saying this about your insights onenybrother but DUH! We all knew from the get go that Michigan is one of the dirtiest programs out there. They just havent got caught yet. We all know that every player on Michigans football team (and Basketball) all major in under water basket weaving; I mean come on, havent you heard some of those illiterate ididots speak before? They all speak in some other form of modern english. It's PATHETIC. So F@#k Michigan and go Irish! I hope we beat the piss out of them this year.

I think that Hart and Carr (especially Carr) had to defend UM. Besides Harbaugh demeaning UM, you have Corwin Brown saying he'd gone to ND, if only ND had offered him. Basically means that those who "experience" the Ann Arbor environment are less than impressed. Can't have everyone bashing you without retort. Ergo, no surprise on the comments emanating from Hart and Carr. After all, the TRUTH sometimes hurts!

So, to use your model, does that make Corwin Brown an "illiterate idiot" who "speaks some other form of modern english." Is Corwin "PATHETIC"???? I agree that Michigan is substandard in oh, so many ways but to say that they're "all" not up to snuff is both ignorant and foolish. Secondly, it's one thing to say those things like a tough guy on the internet...I'd suggest you approach Corwin and address your concerns with his alma mater personally...that is if you're able to keep from pissing down both of your legs as you approach him. Tool...

Ouch!! But you're right, and not to add to your retort, but the thing that really stuck to out me was not the fact that Hart and Carr sandblasted Harbaugh, but the fact that they didn't stick up for Michigan's academics when they did it. I mean, if you're going to sandblast someone for ripping his alma mater, then why didn't they refute any of what Harbaugh said? If somebody says something about your family and you get pissed and say something back, you're supposed to not only stick up for your family, but defend it as well. What Carr and Hart did, in my opinion, is way worse than anything Harbaugh could possibly say. Jim Harbaugh went through the Michigan system, therefore, he has the right to say what he wants to about the Michigan program. If the coach and players don't like it, fix it, don't bitch about what was said, because what was said was absolute truth. I come to this conclusion because neither the player, nor the Head Coach spoke out and said anything to the contrary. Go Michigan!!!!!!! Go BLOW!!
