Sorry, but I absolutely loathe anything and anyone associated with ESPNBA "The worldwide leader in nothing"...
I'm glad Patrick is leaving, and only wish he could take his bleeding heart friend from MSNBC with him.
The unfortunate fact is that most of the "personalities" (and I use that word extremely loosely) from ESPNBA are 1 part broadcaster, 4 parts actor and 4 parts used car salesman in sharkskin suits. They would rather become popular for coining a catch phrase like "booyah" or "en fuego" than report o the sports news.
Jim Rome is another example of this type of gen-X sports personality. He's a complete moron and no day for me is complete without re-living the time Jim Everett tossed him on national television.
Craig Kilborn, same deal. More "entertainer" than journalist, analyst or broadcaster.
Call me old school, but I like the guys that stick to the facts and report on sports. I don't need to live in the "Jungle" or be a "Clone" to enhance my listening experience.
