Quinn doesn't seem like the type of person or teammate who would bitch for more money and then hold out if he doesn't get it. He should have a contract signed before camp, in my opinion.
it's easy to stand on principle when millions of dollars aren't hanging in the balance for you. should he simply assume that the team's management will be fair in their offer and accept it at face value? quinn's agent is being paid to get the best deal possible, and that doesn't necessarily mean he should sign the first offer he sees. it's a negotiation process that all elite athletes must deal with.
Listen, I loved watching Brady Quinn play for the Irish as much as the next guy. My enjoyment watching him in college will carry over into the NFL, where I hope he has much success. And although I believe he should've been a Top 10 Draft pick, in reality, he was drafted 22nd. Either he or his agent need to seriously realize this or else he is going to start out his career with a bad name. He was not a top 10 pick, and therefore does not need to be paid like one. Damn I hope Brady comes to his senses.
Go Browns
I have a feeling that things will be done not to far in the distant future...If there is a hold out, it won't be long.
The end result of all of this for Quinn and the Browns???.....
