-------Not one guy on that ND Jr. list. All the guys that are on the Sr. year list are all 5th year Sr's correct? Oh Ty, Ty, Ty....

Kiper has Zibby, Carlson, Sullivan are all #1 at their position which is a good sign that he knows what he is doing. Geoff Price is the #2 punter, but not alot of punters get drafted soo...Good list overall.

1) Louisville has the best Sr and Jr QBs.

2) Brian Brohm, I would like to welcome you to the top QB position prior to the season, who will just drop in the draft for no apparent reason, Rodgers, Lienart, Quinn, and now Brohm

How can you be the #1 Jr. QB when you haven't played a meaningful down of college football in your life? Because you hear his hype from his coaches? NEVERMIND THIS LIST SUCKS:pileof:

Anyone who talks smack next year about our schedule should look at that senior list. There's a top-5 player from at least one of our opponents at most of those positions.

Has Cantwell even played a down yet? To be on the bench most of the time and be the #1 rated junior. Thats BS

Hes gonna be changing that list when he sees what Travis Thomas can do.

I like how some people thinks John David Booty is the favorite for the heisman and he doesnt even make the top 5 qb list.

Cantwell played in the bowl game two years ago against VaTech, and played pretty well. He also played alot when Brohm had that thumb surgery, either last year or two years ago.

I remember now when Brohm broke his thumb. Still doesn't make him the best Jr. QB in the country. It's not like the guy Cassel from USC who was a backup to Lienart and Palmer all those years never playing a down but would start on any other team.

Live in Louisville, and Louisville is my least favorite team ever. Having said that though, Brian Brohm is a friend of mine, and is all that and a bag of chips. Have seen him dominate since 5th grade.

Believe it or not, Hunter Cantwell is just notch below him. He turned down schollarship offers just to WALK ON at UofL, due to their recent QB success history. He is tough as nails, great arm strength and accuracy. He has good size. He has played significant games, his 2nd start was the Gator bowl game vs. Marcus Vick and VT. He had his nose broken early in game, then played well (3 TD's) the rest of the game, a loss. In 2 years, he has played in 15 games, 4 of which he started. 1000+ yards, 65 % or so completions.

I know no one here has ever heard of the guy, but most ananlyst are picking him 1 or 2 in his class. Others may pop up, but that's how it looks right now.

PS I tried to get Brohm to go to ND, but his whole family played QB at UofL. Plus Brady Q was getting some pub as well. ND fans would have loved this guy as much as BQ, they are that much alike. Good People.

I'm sure Brohm loved it when his brother verbally assaulted him everytime he came back to the sidelines during the Rutgers game. The Louisville offensive line looked like pop warner kids trying to block.

I didn't think that verbal barrage was as bad as the national media made it out to be. I thought that is normal in the heat of battle of a football game. Thats the way he did it in High School too. CW has been known to do the same in his career. I am glad they lost to Rutgers though. I don't cheer for them just because he's my friend. I hated them before he was a player there, so I got dibs.

shawn-maine: If the 2008 draft was today who would be the top 5 picks? also will michigan meet usc again in a bowl game this year?

Todd McShay: I would say in any order, the top five would include Jake Long, OT from Michigan; Sam Baker, OT from USC; Chris Long, DE from Virginia; Brian Brohm, QB from Louisville; and Glen Dorsey, DT from LSU.

Todd McShay: In all honesty, the more I watch Brohm, the more overrated I think he is. I'm not so sure there's not that much difference between Brohm and Henne. I already mentioned my concerns with Dorsey earlier in this chat. And of them all, I think the highest grade I'm going to give any senior in the preseason will be Chris Long. He's the most complete player in the country at his position.

Todd McShay: Remember, this is not including any underclassmen. This is all seniors at this point. If I were including juniors, the No. 1 player would be Darren McFadden from Arkansas.

It is happening already.

Todd McDouche is a tool and he didn't just slam Quinn this year he fully bashed him. I can't stand him and he and Kiper got into a verbal spat over the air over Quinn. McShay was yelling about how much talent Quinn had on that team and Kiper was saying did you see the defense? He said McKnight wasn't that good as expected and Shark had a down year add to the fact that the O-line also had an under achieving year. I don't take any McDouche has to say seriously.
