Well, at least for Notre Dame that is. GG, I hope you don’t mind, but since this is rather big news, losing any chance of nabbing one of the top recruits in the country, I am posting this as a separate thread, sort of an anti-commit thread. We will have to come up with an anti-Numa Numa for this.
Anyway, Hill has cut his list down to 9 schools and the Irish did not make the cut. Here is the final 9, with quite a few surprises:
Florida
Southern Cal
Michigan
Virginia
Maryland
Rutgers
Penn State
Florida State
Miami
Virginia, Maryland, Penn State, and Miami are not even currently listed as college choices in Hill’s Rivals profile. Three schools that are did not make his final 9, ND, Oklahoma, and Pitt. Now that ND is out of the picture, it would be nice to see Rutgers win this battle, but being the “warm-weather guy” that Will is, Rutgers is probably on this list just to appease the home state fans. Fortunately, the warm weather factor should also eliminate scUM. The 3 Florida schools & USC are probably the only real contenders here, with the final elimination round most likely between the Poodle & the Cockwad.
Three notes of interest on this news.
1) Polish Leppy, your buddy from St. Peter’s was either getting bad info, or just pulling your leg. This does not automatically eliminate you as son-in-law material, but you are on double secret probation until further notice.
2) I guess some Jersey guys only stick with other Jersey guys if the other Jersey guys coach in winter warm weather states.
3) Kudos to the Thrill for not stringing ND along like so many other recruits are prone to do. At least now the staff knows that the Irish are not in contention for Hill way ahead of time, so there is no need to hold a just-in-case schollie for him. This is especially critical this year with the limited number of ND schollies still available. So thanks for that Will, good luck, and see ya.
Go RU, get that Thrill, keep him away from the penis head and the pill.
