What team do you want to see win a title in their sport/league that is NOT one of your personal favs... just a team you always felt for or you think it would be cool to see win one that you happen to not be a fan of for the most part...

I'll start with mine...

the Toronto Maple Leafs, great team, great history, die hard fans, one of the best unis in sports IMO... and how long has it been? Since the 1940's or 50's... I would lvoe to see them lift the cup one of these days

I would have to say the SD Chargers in football. They have some of the best players, the coolest powder blue jerseys, and LT, plus they have sucked for awhile, so I think it would be cool if they won.

I hear ya... I'm a fan though... When the Browns left Cleveland I filled to void by becoming a Charger fan, they're still my number two if you will

I'd say the Browns (but since Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards got there I hated them.) and the Cubs just because it's the Cubs.

At this very moment...CLEVELAND CAVALIERS. Way to handle your business, boys!!!!

Beyond that, The Tribe. 1948 was the last time they won a damn thing.

Toronto Maple Leafs is a great choice...good call AC. Sitting here looking at my Authentic jersey as we speak.

Finally...

The University of Notre Dame...

1988 seems like an eternity considering that's the year I entered high school.

My dad was always a Lions fan from back in the day (when they actually competed), so I guess I'd like to see them win one, if my favorite couldn't. Of course if Quinn becomes a starter & has success, I may become a Browns fan (when it comes to pro football, my loyalty can be bought...just like the players).

If my Dodgers couldn't win one (1988 since them & the Irish have won it all), I'd go for a team w/ a future HOFer who hasn't tasted a championship or one of the team who've never one a WS.

The only future HOFer off the top of my head who haven't one a WS would be Biggio, Piazza & A-Rod. If Bagwell was still playing, I'd say the 'stros, but Piazza was always a favorite so I'll say the Marlins...er Mets...er Padres...I mean the Oakland A's (sorry Acamp)

I should ban your ass right now and be done with it...:devil_2:

the Padres are right up there too...

San Diego is simply the greatest american city IMO... never a title in anything... they deserve one somewhere...

I think he's giving you the business b/c you went w/ your favorite teams instead of teams other than your fav. who you'd like to see win it all. Just a guess though.

Why do you always have to be the voice of reason???

I freaking hate you Dodger. ;)

Dodger... 1988- a year of pure joy (Irish NC) as well as a year of miserable pain (Kurt Gibson's a fag)

I'd like to see the Black Hawks win the Stanley Cup, and rejuvenate hockey in an original 6 market (they are establishing some REAL good young talent - Jonathan Toews may be the most well rounded young player of the last several years).

Consolation:
Cubs - it's been soooo long for the fans
England (World Cup) - no country would be more unified by a win
Vikes - tribute to my father who was a long suffering fan

And, I know this is about teams, but having heard this past week about the support that Phil Mickelson has been providing to Conrad Dobler's family made me want him to win a bundle of majors in the next couple of years......he had never even met the family

 Sorry, I just want my teams to win. I have a hard time getting sentimental about other teams when mine are perennially crappy.

Seeing the Cubs or Dodgers win one would be nice and I hope the Cavs can win as well.

At the risk of exposing myself to ridicule, wouldn't it be cool if the Lions somehow one the super bowl? And just out of the blue. Not like they suddenly become able to build a successful team. Just they suddenly win a bunch of games and become champs, and the next year they suck just as much as usual.

(No one ever said it had to be realistic)

Come on guys. I can't list them because I am a fan of all Philly sports teams (so,so on the Sixers) but somebody out there outside of Philly must want to see a Philadelphia team win something, anything. We're dying here, we need all the help we can get. It's been 23 years since the Sixers, although all Philly fans like to count Villanova, geez that only makes it 22 years, that really makes me feel better.

I am pretty sure that Philadelphia has gone the longest without a championship of any city that has a team in all 4 major sports, assuming that you still consider hockey a major sport. So how about a little love for the E A G L E S, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers, even if you don't really mean it. We really need the help.
