by the way Sabino talks about Brown, it sounds like they have a great relationship, so I still like our chances with him. It all comes down to getting him to visit to ND, if he does, then I really like our chances or the likes of free shoes university.

My main concern is north carolina. That just sounds funny to say that, but with Davis there, and they have a very good academic school, it would be almost understandable if he did choose NC.

I think to have a shot at anybody you'd have to get them on campus. I'm diehard ND fan all my life and even I'd visit before commiting.

We've gone from "a name" to "in the mix", all thanks to Corwin. The visit will be huge, but if he doesn't make it it's not for lack of interest. IUB noted that there is difficulty in planning such a visit because of summer school, since his plans are to enroll early. I think Corwin has done/is doing all that he can, and now it's a wait and see from ND's perspective, since the ball is in Sabino's court.

Well, let's hope he's smart enough to figure it out... Most of these young men are pretty bright, so I'm holding out hope. Are you concerned?

He has a favorites list of UF, Auburn, GT, Georgia, ND, OSU, NC, USC, and The "U".
I guess that goes against Scout's new "Schools of interest" update that took us off.

IK- Sabino was quoted last week as saying that if he were to pick a Top 5 right now that Tennessee would be on his list, and he was still speaking highly of FSU. What is the source of this list of 9 favorites.

Etienne mentioned how he's been texting with CB about a trip this summer. He's aware of the need for linebackers for our new defense and that our school speaks for itself and is one of the few schools with the balance of academics and football.

----Well thats about a big a visit that we have left wouldn't you say? If he doesn't commit on his visit (which is very likely even though everyone else seems to) then I won't feel as confident. Maybe thats because I'm spoiled with all the recruits getting "wowed" when they come, but just like we were waiting for EJ to come here to see where we stand....it'll tell us alot. Like Cave says if there is a big prospect coming to visit South Bend...He'll be there and I expect him to be there July 27th.

Its amazing how different things are this year. Where as in the past a lot of these top teir guys would wait until there officials to visit if at all.
