Peterson is good....when he is healthy. Being that fragile, the NFL will break him.

I couldn't agree more, plus he's more of the run you over running style rather than making some one miss.

I just have the feeling he's going to be one of those "what if ?" guys. Much like Kerry Wood and Mark Prior.

This is an interesting bit of news. I wonder how much that will affect his draft status. I mean, it's not like he's not really good, so teams will still want him, but he's a much larger risk than was assumed before. I still won't waste any of my life actually watching the draft, but it will sure be interesting to read about where he gets drafted after the fact.

I think Peterson is incredibly talented, but given his fragility and the way he runs I can't imagine spending a top-ten pick on him.

HCTI- I don't want to ruin your day, and I hope it is not true, but the hot rumor on the Draft wire today is that Brady and his agent are negotiating with the Raiders to be the top pick. Like I said, I hope it is BS, because I think Cleveland is the best place for BQ.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! :banghead2:

I know he really wants to be a first pick. I'm just not sure why. I'd rather shoot myself in the balls than wear Black and Silver.

As much as it would suck for Brady to go to Oakland, having the #1 pick come out of your school makes recruiting so much easier for Weis, and if it happens, it couldnt come at a better time.

When did this happen and how? Pretty unfortunate for him if this is true.

He reportedly re-injured it in the Boise St. bowl game & it evidently will require surgery. He supposedly let this be known in his combine interviews. If a 220 lb Boise St. LB can knock him out of commission, what will those behemoths in the NFL do to the kid?

Some are starting to believe that star Sooner RBs are cursed when it comes to the NFL. Heisman Trophy winners Steve Owens & Billy Sims both had their "can't miss HOF" careers derailed by injury. Owens got hurt before his 1st regular season & barely played w/ the Lions before hanging up the cleats. Sims was living up to his potential when he shredded his knee (probably on that damn Silverdome turf) & had to call it quits w/ a little over 5000 yds on the books. In his case, I believe he had the old Lloyd's of London insurance policy on his wheels, so at least he planned for the future.

Its not possible to get any better QB recruits than what we've got so far.

I wasn't talking about recruiting quarterbacks, but recruiting in general. So many recruits look at how many players get drafted from a school and where they go in the draft, and take it into consideration when thinking about schools.
