Not to worry, I saw his brother Paul in the parking lot and said to him "great move by your brother to commit to the Irish" He smiled and said "Yeah he is excited, too bad ND and PSU are not scheduled after this year." Then I said "you going out to South Bend to see him play" and he said "as often as I can". Then I moved on to see what the Irish would be facing next year and it will be alot in the air. Hope Brown can get the secondary ready by Game 2. The PSU running game was either weak, or thier run defense was excellent.

No - it wouldn't count as "looking around" unless he went to practice, visited with coaches, etc. He doesn't even have an offer from Penn State, and surely there's nothing wrong with going to a hugely popular exhibition game at your big brother's alma mater ...

i don't recall weis ever saying that he'd pull a guy's offer because he was looking around. what he said was "if you're looking, we're looking." that simply means that if a kid is visiting other schools, taking calls, etc., weis is going to treat that recruit like an uncommitted player and conduct his recruiting efforts accordingly. it doesn't mean that he's going to yank his offer altogether.

That's absolutely right -- it's a shame there's been such widespread confusion on this point. Again, though, there's no reason to think Poz was doing any of the things that count as "looking". He just went to a football game.
