guys...a different style article up with the help of a DD member, Dayne Crist, and Andrew Sweat.

There is a HUGE difference between the rumor-infested discussions on a message board, and an interview posted by a named writer stating that he is quoting the comments of a recruit. I feel sorry for these high school students, whose lives are put under the microscope, and who have to continually explain that comments attributed to them are untrue.

When you post your interviews, you are putting your credibility on the line, and as a writer/journalist that is something that can't be taken lightly. Were you to start making stuff up, you won't be doing this for long. You obviously take this seriously, so I can't imagine that you would post fiction; I don't understand why some people struggle with the veracity of your interviews.

I must admit that I take virtually all of the rumors on these boards, as just that. Only if the poster has previously demonstrated their credibility (eg. Svo and some others) do I pay attention to the rumors.

thanks kjones, i thought the blue gold looked like a lot of other sites on the internet...i really like rivals look so i was aiming at something around that. obviously its nothing like that, but you can always try.
