Football Announces Blue-Gold Game Rosters/Format

Just came out tonight, but here it is. This will give us an idea who is on the first and second teams right now.

It appears that the Blue team is 1st team O against 1st team D on Gold. Second year in a row that the o-line will be playing both ways. It just goes to show how much more depth we need on the o-line.

It appears that Toryan Smith is on the 1st team D, which is one guy that I wanted to see step up for the LBs.

It appears also that Luke Schmidt is on 1st team O and Asaph Schwapp is on 2nd team. Coach Weis has made a few comments about these two guys lately.

I have been reading the Practice Observations from Michael Rothstein and he is listing who is practicing with what group. From what I have been reading from his blog, it does appear that the 1st team and 2nd team is fairly set up other then the QBs and 0-Line. Other writers have also stated that it does appear that way as well. Here is the link to his blog: LINK

that could be so, but i would question a few individual positions on both offense and defense that i think may be mixed in. besides, there is still the summer and fall camp, so things could easily change between now and Ga. Tech
