to me!

The wife and I went to lovely Lawrenceburg, IN to gamble at Grand Victoria casino and made a killing on quarter video poker!! Yippee.

Video poker is my favorite thing to play along with blackjack. Does anyone have other favorite games they like to play when gambling (aside from strip poker with 'da hotties)??

Texas hold-em is a good game! I play evey so often. I just learned a game called "guts" that is pretty cool. Although it is not a casino game.

you get 3 cards, and you declare if you are in or out (after the ante). then you bet and the highest of the three cards wins. The loser has to match the pot, while the other people have to ante for the next game. The winner doesn't have to ante for the next game at all. The pot can grow pretty big as it is matched every time by a loser, although if two people don't go in on a hand, then the pot restarts.

That game has been brutal to me. When it comes to real money and not vbucks, I am pretty conservative (go figure). I try and stick to my strengths of b.jack and video poker. Although I will say that the Wheel of Fortune slot machine is pretty cool!

I stay away from the machine games, although my wife & father-in-law make a killing on them. My favorite table games are blackjack & 3-card poker. 3 card is great b/c you can go through $100 w/o winning much & then, BAM!, a straight flush nets you close to $500 (depending on your original bet).

Well, we didn't get near that much. Just enough to smile and thank Touchdown Jesus that we went. The last three times we went were not especially good, so it is nice to come out a winner once in a while.

Hey if you like playing the slots, try playing the Lucky Leprechaun machines. The bonus rounds ansd special spins can payout pretty big and its one of the more understandable pay tables at Grand Vic. Last time I was their hit the Jackpot on their for like $2500 (wasn't playing maximum bet per spin though). Hey has Grand Vic expanded their poker room yet, I haven't been there since I moved a year and a half ago, but might be coming back into the area and was curious if they expanded their poker room yet.
