I do not gamble on sports (prob in the minority), but I absolutely love betting on the IE sports book. Is there anyway to have more stuff to bet on? I don't want to wait for big events to "have a flutter". Maybe it's too much work to keep administering that aspect of this website, but it sure keeps things fun.

Surely w/ ND's b-ball prospects in the Big Dance there will be something to wager on.

I've been working on it, but part of it is that there just isn't much going on right now from a sports standpoint. You can always create your own events. Just make sure to read the rules in the GS Proper Odds thread.

March madness is a Godsend, but that's far away. I'm talking about betting on stuff before that (such as how many times certain dudes will say "bah" in a thread.
(just kidding)

who wants to bet on the Notre Dame vs Marquette game on saturday

I'll put it up when odds become availible. I always try to get ND football and basketball games, and other major sporting events. During baseball season I'm planning on putting up some of the weekend's bigger games, and the NBA and NHL playoffs will be up as well.

More events would be nice, but like said, there isn't much. Unless there are bets about Britney Spears and rehab or something.

OK, I am increasingly convinced that in my old age I am becoming retarded.

How do I start an event. I am like uber-admin, and I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Go to the Sports Book -> Create New Thread -> Click the box marked "Post a vBookie Event
Yes, post a vBookie Event with this thread" -> Fill out the info for the event (There is a sticky tread at the top of the forum for setting odds.)
