No link that i know of but there are several sites talking about CW and CB in New jersey today talking with Trattou.

The plane apparently is in DC and it is not that far to drive to NJ. it has been there for 3 days it looks like. Maybe lumping him in with visiting 08 players.

that would be rivals radio on sirrius reporting an in-home visit to JT today.

Alright, I'll add my two cents on this: if Rivals radio reports an in-home, then I'm inclined to believe it. And I think that if Charlie and Corwin are really getting a chance to talk to this kid, then hope is not gone. He's a teenager, and teenagers sometimes make rash decisions that they come to regret. Weis and Brown are both excellent recruiters with an exciting product to push, so this news makes me think that we may have a shot at JT after all.

Thoughts, folks?

The thing is about this rumor is that CW already did an in-home with JT. So, I don't know how he could be doing it again.

One other thing that makes me a bit skeptical of the story is that I remember Trattou saying in an article that he was changing his cell phone number because he just didn't want to be bothered about this anymore. But again, kids can change their minds ...

Why would JT listen to CW and CB now when he would not before. He also stated that his heart was with FL and that was why he did not come to ND for the visit that was set up. Besides if JT told CW he wasn't into ND that was the end of it.

If Charlie already had an in-home visit with JT, when was it? I thought that Charlie just visited his high school a few weeks ago when JT was waivering. He might still have an in-home visit left. Just a thought.

Because kids change their minds. Because Charlie can be a convincing guy. Because Urban Meyer hasn't stopped going after other D-linemen. Because he took a closer look at Florida's academics.

The point is: nothing we know rules out the possibility that JT is still in some sort of contact with us.

Again, just trying to hold out hope .......

Brown and Weis didn't get a chance to explain how he would fit into the mix on this. That was suppose to be the purpose of the unofficial that JT was suppose to go on, that he cancelled. I doubt that JT has even met Brown yet and if you all remember back after JT committed, he said he committed to Fla because of the 3-4 and he wasn't sure how he would fit into that type of system.

This is why Weis and Brown are visiting him to explain their thinking to JT and how he would fit into it. I don't expect anything to change from this visit.

Rumor has it that Florida is also going to make the switch to the 3-4, so who knows. I think he will be a gator come signing day. JT got a hold of some good trim down there on his visit when he went out with shithead Tebow and the rest of that gator gang.

Here's to me being wrong and a miracle happening.

I like the kid I wished him good luck when he went with FL over ND, so I hope you guys are right. If he changed his phone number and contacted CW that would be something to talk about, and would give me hope.

You might be right. I thought he visited his house as well during that trip but it might have just been his school.

i dont know ya got to remember that he is from Jersey, where every girl and her mother has big hair and big fake tatas.

Dude i grew up in philly, you have watched too many movies. There are a lot of hot chicks in new jersey, they are probably just more picky, trattou probably is a good football player, but he is no model.

There is more than one plane and sometimes the coaches even use...gasp...commercial air to travel. The fact that the staff visited Brian Smith over the weekend in Kansas has been mentioned in a number of stories, but the plane on the tracker was not in Kansas this past weekend.

Per another board, these rumors came to nothing -- there was no meeting, and Trattou is still a Gator.
