Dominique was a real standout at the AAA Jr. Combine, and Dan Buckner thought he was the best QB at the combine. He is said to be a very nice kid, who's eyes lit up when the topic of Notre Dame came up.

I think he left the door open in case there was a great talent at QB that really wanted to come to ND. It couldn't hurt to bring a another really talented guy in, and then have him save his first year of eligibility. Especially if one of the current QBs leave the team for one reason or another.
