Boubacar participated at the recent Nike camp with most 2007 recruits and was acknowledged as best DB at the 2006 Ohio State Nike Camp.

Boubacar apparently already has verbal offers on the table from Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State. I'm not sure if Notre Dame will offer this kid, but he is shaping up as one of the top players in the Class of 2008.

"I like Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State and Tennessee," Cissoko said. "Those are the ones at this point."

Notre Dame has not been active in recruiting Cissoko, so if we do get involved, we'll be longshots. I wish we knew more about the 2008 class and what the staff is doing.

I think to knock him down due to size is a little premature. At Rivals junior camp last year - he competed as a sophomore and was best at camp. This years junior combine at the AAA game he was listed as far and away the best and the coaches asked him to back off to give the receivers a chance. He was MVP at the camp - so he is two for two. I'd say he probably is a pretty good get.

On Power Hour Dan Buckner said he thought that Boubacar Cissoko was the best DB at the Army AA Jr. Combine this last week, and that he new he had to step up his game every time he went against him.

Fortunately most kids don't stop growing their Junior year in high school. He'll probably be closer to 5'11" when he makes it to school. I'm all for getting a player that coaches have to ask to back off so other All Stars can make a catch.

Michigan fans seem to think he'll be a wolverine. I've also heard that a scout.com article indicates he could commit to Michigan soon, but I have not seen the article so take it fwiw.

I don't think he's overrated, he was really impressive at the camps. I like him, but I'm happy with the one's we have.

I don't think there is a recruit I would want any less than K-Fed. He's a twig and if you watched him on TV you'll see that he won't be anything special. His YouTube mixtape is crazy, but it don't mean jack in college football.
