Nice to see LSU the team we're playing soon has 4 first rounders on that list. Many NFL scouts will be watching that game. Some of the players on that list can really solidify their protection as a first round player with a great performance in that game.
The Lions will draft Quinn, I know that franchise is wacky but I can't possibly see them drafting someone else. I could defenitely see the Bucs at 3 try to trade up for Quinn.
Jeff Samardzija will not be a first rounder IMO unless he gives up baseball. NFL GM's aren't going to squander a first round pick on a guy who may not even play football, he may not go until the third round because historically second rounders are just as successfull as first rounders.
VA will be a first rounder or early second round player, no way does he fall lower than the second round, his measurables and speed are too good for teams to pass on him. Even though he hasn't had many sacks against good teams he still has been a productive pass rusher, and pass rushers are worth their weight in gold in the NFL. Most of Mario Williams sacks came against weaker competition as well.
Brett Farve will definitely come back if the Packers can land Peterson in the draft. Although Peterson has had injury problems there is no doubt in my mind that he will be great at the next level if healthy. With Tiki Barber retiring the Giants may be better off losing and not making the playoffs, so that they have a better chance at landing Peterson, or at least be high enough on draft day that they can trade up for him.
Paul Posluszny at 6 is WAY to high, I wouldn't even take him in the first round.
Troy Smith is too high, and no way does Nick Saban draft him. I think Troy might eventually develope into a QB, but regardless of what OSU fans tell you his height will hurt him, and he will have to adjust which may take him a few years. Saban isn't going to waste a first rounder on a guy that will take three or four years to develope.
Teddy Ginn probably should stay another year to develope, but he probably won't because OSU will be breaking in a new QB. Teddy's a helluva talent, but he's not going to just get by in the NFL with his speed like he has in college. He still has some facets of his game to work on to become a good NFL player, which is why he should stay his last year.
