Courtesy of The Blue-Gray Sky, who pulled it from an article on the Louisiana-based The Town Talk website...

"Yeah, they are the darlings of the media world. Hopefully we can knock them off their media high horse that they are always on. We want to show everybody that they don't really deserve to be where they are."

- Chase Pittman, LSU defensive end, referring to Notre Dame

I know I've got a corkboard and a thumbtack around here somewhere...

Haha...yeah, this is a nice little piece for ND's locker room "foods for thought" bulletin board.

Though I don't think that "bulletin board material" makes much difference, I do think that this was a very stupid thing for an LSU player to say.

let lsu talk all they want anything to get the boys ready to play. I hope they come out ready and it doesn't take a quarter or so to get going.need to start fast and stay going.

If LSU wins, no one will care what this idiot said. If LSU loses, he'll be stuck with that line his whole life. That's why you're not supposed to say things like this. Les Miles had some good things to say about ND. A much better approach. You just don't demean the team you're going to play. If you beat them, you've done nothing great. If you lose, you look 1000X worse.

nothing compared to diakowsky's comment on zibby.Too bad he doesn't play tight end or something.Maybe he could get the chance to meet zibby on the field with the ball, but diakowsky does look like an ox since he is a tackle.I'd still take zibby on the street over him.:)

I remember another guy making comments about Zibby. Less than a minute later he was flat on his back.
