chill out
For the love of all that is holy please STOP POSTING LINKS TO ESPN. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO BE READ, PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THE ARTICLE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO KEEP SUPPORTING AN ORGANIZATION THAT WILL PERPETUALLY DROOL OUT COMMENTARIES AS LONG AS PEOPLE KEEP CLICKING ON THE LINKS.
Or I just hate espn and the fact that there are always links to espn articles in every damn thread I read.
Yeah yeah, freedom of speech, etc.
And I don't know anyone that does like espn. Probably the number one reason I hate them is there is no journalistic integrity. Everything is choreographed, which makes what they have to say seem somewhat fictional. That may be a little harsh, but when I watch some of those shows, I feel like everything being said is being said for ratings.
The hate has nothing to do with me being a Notre Dame fan. I could care less what they say about Notre Dame.
I also hate Michael Irvin. I hate most of those sideline reporters. And I hate espn for demoting Ron Franklin because he called one of those idiots "sweetheart". I also want Harold Reynolds back.
I do like watching college football games on the channel, and I will continue to do so, but that's about all I watch anymore.
Here's a few other thoughts on the matter.

ESPN is not CNN
Its sports entertainment....I want over the top opinions and useless debates like "best team ever"
the Channel is ENTERTAINING....people take it WAY to seriously, the funny thing is, everyone on the internet that "hates espn" does so because they think ESPN hates their program and only trashes it...
Its called the Hostile Media effect....look it up.....Its YOU, not ESPN
I watch PTI to get very, very quick hits on what's going on the world of sports and to get a basic framework for the various topics that are being debated.

Great thread!!! It has nothing to do with anything that is in the title other than the article. I like this thread about as much as I like ESPN. I hate it other than MNF.
