Why even play the game??? I'm telling you guys right now, we are out gunned, but not to the dgree of last year, I have full confidence that Brady and the other seniors will NOT go out with back to back blowout loses in the spotlight... We have the better coach by far IMO... and quite frankly are due for a show up game against a big time opponent... in other words, yes we are better than what we showed with tOSU, Michigan and SC... it'll at least be close

and a whole lot of haters, D Patrick most of all (From Ohio BTW) will eat their words...

While I agree with your basic idea, i think we do have room for some errors. Not many, maybe one or two, but no more. I just think we are good enough that we could recover from one or two errors, even if they don't give us any back. But we need to capitalize on opportunities as soon as they are presented, and make sure we keep their defense off-balance with good play-calling (not worried here) and crisp exectution (slightly worried, espeically about drops). If we can do that, and not give up the long ball, I think we should be in pretty good shape when we come to the Brady Quinn quarter.

honestly I felt we were gonna get smoked the whole week leading up to the SC game... didn't suprise me... Have a feeling this will be different... a good game win or lose...

I want to say were going to win this game but I'm going to be realistic and say that as long as Rick Minter is the defensive coordinator we cant hang with the big boys ie Ohio State, Michigan, Southern Cal....Oh and Lsu pretty soon. Lsu has a TON of team speed and playmakers all over the place on offense and defense. They just have too much talent for us to keep up with them and dont be surprised if we get beat pretty bad. I was actually fearing playing Lsu because theyre so talented. I would have rather played Florida.

has anyone watched lsu play this year? They make bukoo mistakes. Jemarcus russell is overrated and has had some horrible games... ie... @tennessee @florida he had 3 picks in each game, both losses. He is prone to mistakes. Also, they were outplayed by a horrible Ole Miss squad. They are young and they have an extreme amount of talent, but to say its gonna be a blow before the game is even played is a joke. Weis and Company aren't going to get their asses beat 3 times in one year. Lets just hope LSU doesn't come out with the same performance as the Peach Bowl last year. SCREW THE MEDIA!!

They only have 19 Turnovers on the whole season. 11 Fumbles, 8 INTs.

Russell has 7 INTs total. 3 @ Tenn, 3 @ Florida, and 1 @ Arizona. The backup, Matt Flynn has INT.

Dude, I am glad you think he is over-rated, but the WORST game he had was 57.1% completion percentage for 269 yards.

I like the fact that the Irish are the big underdog going in! It takes the pressure off somewhat knowing that everyone (other than a lot of the ND nation) thinks that they'll get smoked. LSU is quick and tough, but there will be opportunities to expose their weaknesses.

How can people not realize that LSU is vulnerable?

Their offense has played great against Patsy's, and pretty horrible against decent teams. Let's just hope our defense can appear decent.

I don't think it is an easy game to call either way. But LSU DID lose two games. They scored 3 points against an Auburn team that lets Arkansas run all over them. Their defense is very good. Little question about that. But, as always, the offenses in the SEC aren't great. Which will skew numbers a bit.

I think this is going to be a much more even game than anyone is giving us credit for.

Bottom line, we played poorly against UM and USC. Those were far from our best games. And if we play on par, or slightly above par against them. We have a really good chance of winning.
