LSU to Rose, which means ND to Sugar

I think we match up better with Florida as well. It's become apparent that ND loses or has diffulties winning against teams that have a strong pass rush - which negates brady's passing abilities, or against teams with a strong passing game combined with a good O'line to expose our secondary. That was the case this year against MI, SC and UCLA. Florida isn't the strongest in either of those areas and I think that's why we can pull out a win. I know LSU's D is pretty solid, so I don't see us looking that great in that matchup.

... Even though I don't think Nd's body of work is deserving of a BCS bowl bid at all, I will still support Nd over Florida's inevitible cries of foul play once they lose to Arkansas and have LSU go to the Rose Bowl.

It just came across ESPNEWS. The Rose bowl has said that LSU will be playing either UM, or USC, and LSU is already underway selling tickets. This means that ND is now a virtual lock for the Sugar against the SEC champion.

Holding McFadden was pretty impressive, but there's no comparison of Dick to Quinn - that sounds weird.

However, statistically speaking, Florida's pass defense is actually worse than ours. They're 51st in ypg, ND is 50th. Now, guess what LSU is ranked in pass defense? #3 in the country! That's why I think this game is going to be way tougher than Florida. I'm keeping optomistic though that Brady and Co. will finish the season off right!

Good point, in fact what should make us all feel pretty good about the LSU game or any SEC matchup for that matter is the way we beat Tennessee those 2-years when they were considered much better than ND.

Sometimes I think the SEC is not all it's cracked up to be. Like they're in their own little bubble and they beat each other up and that's what they get credited for being such a strong conference. We'll see on January 3rd!!!

We really need our running game to get going for this game. IMO LSU's pass defense is excellent but their run defense isn't that great. If anyone watched the Arkansas game they saw trhat they good cut up by their run game, and the same in the Auburn loss. So if we manage do have a good running game this game we'll win pretty damn soundly.

I have a feeling they were pre-sales. They were also pre-selling Orange and Capital One Bowl tickets. Probably what will happen is what happens with ND Lottery tickets. If the ticket you wanted is taken (or in this case, doesn't exist), they'll probably just give the money back.

It's better to get all the ticket sales settled earlier than later, so it's not a terrible situation.
