That's IF Florida passes Michigan though. I think they will but I'm just not sure.

I would much rather have the Gators win than O$U. I lothe all things Ohio State and I actually cheer for Florida most of the time.

No, OSU teams do not play flat. You have to give the devil (Tressel) his due. His teams almost never play that way.

Notre Dame fans should be huge Michigan fans right now. If we get selected to Glendale, an opening appears in the Rose Bowl. If Florida gets in, we will almost certainty go to the Rose Bowl to face USC (who gets the auto Pac 10 bid).

I am confident Charlie Weis will place Michigan ahead of Florida. First of all, he doesn't have a very good relationship with Urban Meyer (Crier, that's nice), nor do Nd fans. Second, it is in his interests to free up a slot in the Rose Bowl, where Nd might get in (though it's probably undeserved). Now, LSU (the lone SEC team that will be rooting for Michigan tomorrow), may also have a chance at the Rose, but they can't get in without Michigan going to Glendale. Whether or not Nd gets the Rose over LSU if Michigan gets the title game is debatable, but both Nd and LSU need Michigan to vault ahead of Florida before anything can happen. Wow, the BCS does suck.

I wouldn't put money on OSU playing flat. If Urban can get his team past Tressel and Troy Smith, then they deserve the NC. That's a pretty tall task that is not very easy.

Ohio St fans!!! Wouldn't it be funny if Florida (who I loathe with Meyer's act) were to win the game as a result of a late pass interference call in OT; kind of remind you of anything.

Looking at the 3 teams that have a chance at the NC, I would begrudingly 'choose' Michigan - only because of my overall disdain for the OSU program and the Urban Meyer whining). But ultimately, it would be like chosing the 'injection' over the 'chair' or the 'chamber'.

If Florida wins, they deserve the title. I don't see how 6 weeks is any more likely to cause staleness than 4 weeks.

As for my preference, I'd actually prefer OSU wins. I hate Meyer more, and his staff is peppered with old ND people he stole and took with him. We also seem to be up against him in more recruiting battles than we are with OSU.
