Friday Night... Movie Night?

Anyone see Saw II? I actually can't believe that I'm typing this, but I thought the orginal was pretty good, just not blood and gore. I'm wondering if the sequel is worth time and effort, because, well, we all know about sequels.

How times have changed. Sunday and Monday used to be movie night, but that was in my youth. Now, it's football and movies on the weekends.

I saw it. It's the same but different. Worth a look, but certainly not groundbreaking after the first. I won't say anything specific about the plot. It differs somewhat.

I'm in late, but the latest Bond is fantastic. Great-but-as-believable-as-Hollywood-can-get action, good characters, and a good plot. It wasn't overdone with gadgets, ridiculous action sequences, etc... I would recommend it to anyone.

For video night, Superman returns is an awesome flick.

You, Me & Dupree - Movie was okay. I expected more funny scenes, but it seems like they used most of them in the trailers. I liked Owen Wilson's character and thought he did a good job overall. Kate Hudson, who I can't stand normally, also looked very hot in the movie. I'd give it 2.5 stars out of 5.

Clerks II - I think you either like Kevin Smith movies or you don't. Since I do, I thought the movie was pretty funny and was dying in some parts. I always marked out at Jeff Andrews character (Randall) so he really had me laughing throughout the movie. BTW, I'm taking the term Porch Monkeys back... LMAO. Wanda Sykes had me cracking up when Randall kept saying it. I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5.

I've heard the same thing about You, Me, and Dupree from people that have seen it. I decided to wait until Video on it and now, I'm not in such a hurry to watch it. I am excited for whenever Miami Vice comes out on DVD, that's going to be an awesome movie to watch in the 'ole home theater.

Did ya watch the deleted scene of Randall and Dante in the car? Randall's theory about Dante in the Mooby's bathroom had me about pissing myself.
