Just went and picked up You, Me & Dupree and Clerks II at the Blockbuster. Wanted Superman Returns, but it was all out.

Anyone else catching a movie tonight?

I'm heading to the bar tonite, but I've seen Clerks II and thought it was hilarious. The part when Jay dances to the Buffalo Bill song is great.

I might watch Click tonight. Looks like it will be pretty funny.
I took my boys to see Click in the theater and it is a pretty decent movie. Turns out to be a feelings movie, but some good chuckles none the less.

- Clerks 2.....funny as hell if you like Kevin Smith's movies.
- Click...best part of that was ogling the actress that played Sandler's wife. Forget her name, Kate something or other I think.

I have over 400 DVDs now (yeah, I know...it's an addiction) but nothing I really want to watch. Maybe we'll go old school and watch "Splash" since I bought that recently.

Horrible movie dude. I hope you like it but the only good part about that movie was the part where the hot blonde was running in slow mo and her "boobies" were spectacular. if you want to see a good movie get lucky number sleven.

Also, (this is not really a new release) but if you people like foreign films with subtitles, give Motorcycle Diaries a shot. I usually hate movies with subtitles until I watched Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon in subtitle and thought it was better than the enlish version then I rented the Motorcycle Diaries and thought it was just Great.

Dupree and Clerks were two of our final choices this weekend. She picked out American Haunting and accepted. We're way behind in movies. It happens every football season.

Interesting personal note about the 1st Clerks...In junior high I used to hang out in front of the convenience store in the movie after school. I never saw Jay or Silent Bob when I hung out there. Kevin Smith apparently grew up about a mile from me, but went to a different school system.

Superman is awesome! I also rented clerks 2. You me & dupree is horrible! It nullified owen wilson's performance in wedding crashers.

Kevin Spacey is great in Superman(and eveything else he does). I'm in the very beginning stages of starting to find Owen Wilson annoying.

i'm the nerd i guess. i watched sketches of frank gehry tonight. microcosmos is next.

can we ban people for saying bad stuff about owen wilson? that brain wrote bottle rocket, rushmore, and the royal tenenbaums, all of which rank in my top 10 of all time (well, not bottle rocket, but the other two yes). he could make nothing but bad movies from now on and he'd still deserve more credit than most.

i didn't like the new bond movie. i guess i'm just too partial to the sean connery era.

Anyone see Saw II? I actually can't believe that I'm typing this, but I thought the orginal was pretty good, just not blood and gore. I'm wondering if the sequel is worth time and effort, because, well, we all know about sequels.

How times have changed. Sunday and Monday used to be movie night, but that was in my youth. Now, it's football and movies on the weekends.
