Fair enough. You can edit your first post, by the way. I don't think anybody would be upset if you questioned the kicking game in general, without calling any one player names.

Done.

The reason I didnt edit them in the first place is that you cant change whats been said, but you can rethink your position once cooler heads have prevailed.

I just find it odd that posters here arent corrected for their behavior, merely riddiculed and pestered. I thought we were all better than that.

Remember Nick Setta?

One of the more interesting ND careers in the last decade. HS X Country, football star in Illinois, developed into a great kicker by his junior year, then got stuck in one of those mental ruts where he really struggled as a senior. Tough kid the whole time though- I remember him scoring TDs on fakes and making some nice hits in kickoff coverage. Anyone know what he's up to these days? Still kicking somewhere?

"Boise State is a great school, a top 10 program and I'm very interested in them. I'm also hearing from Cal, Oregon, Louisville and Notre Dame."

The words of Chris Galippo's kicker teammate Kevin Goessling from a Rivals article dated 11/27/2006.

Boise State is his only offer. Went 7/9 on FG with a Long FG on the year of 41 yards, 29/30 on extra points. He's a left footer, too.

Highest rated kicker left uncommitted on the Rivals board. Might be a waste to bring this guy in a year of Burkhardt. Both are "two star" rated kickers. Not like this Goessling kid is a major upgrade from Burkhardt.

Maybe Weis and Ianello are keeping their options open?
