Hoping that the Cardinals lose out

If the Cardinals get the first pick in the draft, they will auction that pick to the number 1 bidder. Bidwell wont sign a number 1 draft pick and they have no need for a QB.

Not only will this start the legend of Brady Quinn in the NFL, but it will put him in a better position as a team in the 10-15 range is much better than those in the 1-5 area. Of the top 5 worst teams, 4 of them need QBs and all of them are horrible.

Teams to look out for in the case of a bidding war.
Minnesota
NY Jets

I know it's a long shot but I'm just gunna throw it out there. What if Grossman keeps playing like he did sunday or gets injured? You can't keep waiting for next year and the Bears could be in the need of a QB. Yea I know, not gunna happen. I guess I'm just dreaming.

The Bears won't be in the position to draft him, and Angelo loves draft picks, so he'd probably never give up whatever the #1 pick would command on the open market.

Right now, Arizona, Detroit and Oakland are all 2-9 and Houston, Cleveland and Tampa Bay are 3-8. I haven't analyzed schedules, but all but Arizona could use Brady's services.

In all likelihood he's going to be a Lion. Even if they aren't picking first, the Bucs and Raiders, despite their needs at QB aren't slam dunks to draft him. The Raiders due to their reluctance to draft QB's early, and Gruden loves Gradkowski. Now I'm not saying they shouldn't draft Quinn, or that they definitely wont, but if the Raiders or Bucs picked first I'd lean towards Calvin Johnson being the pick.

Unfortunately, the highest bidder will be some other bad team, like the Lions or Raiders. The decent-to-good teams won't have a high enough pick to offer in return.

The Raiders will pick a RB first. It will be Adrian Petersen. It's been a long time since the Raiders have had a great RB.

Yeah its too bad Quinn's graduating right as the Bears are beginning a success cycle. It wouldn't make sense to struggle through the growing pains of a rookie QB when your defense is Championship caliber. If Quinn had been a couple of years older though and if we'd snagged him in a draft, say instead of Benson...maybe we'd beat the Pats last week. Too many ifs though!

I can only dream of him being on the Bears. Lovie is sticking with Grossman through thick and thin.

I don't see why Carroll would leave USC, I mean he has everything there, a secure job, a good deal of money, a great location, and he's starting to be recognized as one of the elite college football coaches ever. In my opinion, if he went to the NFL, he would probably just piss all that away, most coaches can't make the transition from college to the NFL.

Why would Saban leave LSU. It was a great gig for him. These guys have egos. It will always dog Petey that he stunk in the NFL. He would love to change that image of himself.
