A personal story that I wanted to share.
This morning as I was taking my daughter to school she told me that Friday is sports day at school and they are supposed to wear something from a sports team. She asked me if she could wear one of my ND T-shirts or my ND hoodie. I told her that if she wore one of them that people might say bad things to her. She told me she didn’t care. Then I reminded her that she would be going to her dad’s after school and that he might say something to her ( he is a USC fan). She said, “Mommy, I don’t care if he says anything, I don’t like USC.”
Hearing her say that made me very proud! I must be doing something right. Tonight we went to the mall and I bought her her very own ND hoodie. She also talked me into buying her a ND baseball cap that has a HUGE leprechaun on it. She was so happy to get them that she wore the baseball cap out of the store.
