I was recently contacted by the makers of Hero Decks and asked if I would like to become an affiliate of their product. Having never seen them before, I asked to get a sample deck and some more information on the product before I'd sign up to be an affiliate.
After receiving the sample Notre Dame Fight Irish Hero Deck and playing some poker with my boys, I'm sold. These have got to be some of the coolest cards out there, each with a unique caricature of a Fight Irish legend. I'm not sure if we spent more time actually playing cards or discussing the players, who should be which suit/card instead of another player or how they're going to have to make a second edition to include Brady Quinn soon... it's just a very cool conversation piece. They also make other popular teams, too.

After seeing the product and being sold, Hero Decks was kind enough to donate several additional decks to give away and we've decided to give a couple away in honor of the week devoted to one of our biggest rivals, Southern Cal!
