Wow, thanks alot. I've grown rather fond of PowerPoint and Excell and this sure beats buying them.

Just completed 3 webcasts for Office. Awaiting a confirmation of some sort. (All three listed as pending, so I guess that's good. One was legit, one I started but closed after 15 minutes, and one I wasn't able to access but somehow got credit for)

Now on to Vista!

There is no catch. The site is owned by Microsoft. They do stuff like this all the time to promote their software.
also, where did you get this info? I did a whois lookup on powertogether.com and got this

Edit: nevermind. looks like msft.net nameservers are owned by microsoft. not sure why microsoft would hire outside help to do the promo (melbourneitcbs?), but they're at least partially associated with this, which means it's almost certainly not a scam.

nevermind. looks like msft.net nameservers are owned by microsoft. not sure why microsoft would hire outside help to do the promo (melbourneitcbs?), but they're at least partially associated with this, which means it's almost certainly not a scam.

A lot of the larger Tech companies hire outside Marketing help in special promos...it's pretty common. [I was with Intel for 10 years until last month]
