You guys seem to be forgetting about the Cards. They suck just as much as anyone else, so they'll be in line for the 1st pick too.

Now before you go proclaiming that they already have a QB in Lienart (sp?), you must remember that this is the Cardinals we're talking about. They could screw up a wet dream! It'd be just like them to pick him and have 2 starting QB'S and not know what happened.

Why would Pete Carroll make Brady Quinn his first pick with the Cards? ;)

The cards have matty, they don't need a QB, they need many other things, but not a QB.

I believe BQ will end up in the NFL North with either the Lions, Packers or Bears. The Lions haven't had a premier QB since Bobby Lane. Kitna is 34 and the other two are unproven. The Packers are living on borrowed time with Farve and will need major upgrading over what they have left at QB. The Bears have Grossman, who is as erratic as hell, with old Greise backing him up.

This will all go down the drain if the Lions have the 1st pick because they will take him and they wouldn't think of trading picks with any of their competitors in their division. If some other team gets 1st pick, either the Packers or Bears will trade up for Quinn.

He'd better hope it isn't the Raiders.

John Shoop is about to assume their playcalling duties on Sunday.

For Quinn, it would be like playing in Willingham's Waste Coast Offense all over again, ony Shoop's version would be even worse.

Shoop could take Urban's Florida offense even further than the cavemen.

Our Irish/Bengal fans have had to deal with the truth that is was indeed Joe Montana who ripped thier hearts out in Super Bowl XXIII... soon they will deal with the harsh reality of having Brady Quinn kick their butts twice a year in a Browns Uni... That will suck for them....

BUt at least they have a Trojan at Quarter Back

Try Superbowl XVI as well.

It was tough. But I love our trojan QB. Business is business.

It's a little early to speculate....it's fun though............but all signs do point towards Quinn being the top pick in next year's draft. After brain-storming all the NFL teams I came up with these three as the most likely destination for the Irish signal-caller. They are projected to be at the bottom of the league and all need QB help. What does everybody think? I think Bills no doubt......

Maybe Tampa Bay, but they just offered Sims an two year deal (why, i dunno!).

I would love to see Brady in a Chicago Bear uniform next year.

I know its a pipe dream, but let a guy have a moment for a few.

I wouldn't mind Brady going to detroit. Martz is a good offensive coordinator and they have a good wideout in Roy Williams and a good RB in Kevin Jones.

I agree with the dream. The way Grossman is hot and cold, maybe being a Bear is a good idea. Grossman is one solid hit away from injury. I can't believe he's stayed as healthy as he is this far into the season. The pipe dream would be to trade him and some future draft picks for Brady Q. Remember, the Bears didn't draft Joe Montana and should have. Look at what Joe accomplished, and he didn't have the NFL coaching that BQ has had from CW. BQ is already 2 years ahead of where Montana was on the NFL coaching level.

Bills arent ready to give up on Losman imo, Al Davis isnt really one to take QBs in the first round. I think the Lions make the most sense.

Brady Quinn and Mike Martz are a good match. So is Detroit for a Notre Dame kid from Ohio.

I am thinking the Lions as well. He might not be the first pick (only because of team needs), but I think the Lions is his best bet. For some reason I would hate to see BQ in the black and silver.

The top guys, in no order, as of now would have to be:

Brady Quinn
Calvin Johnson WR Ga Tech
Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
Gaines Adams DE Clemson
Quentin Moses DE Georgia
Adrian Peterson RB OU

I really believe that if the Raiders have the first pick.......BQ will pull a Eli Manning(Eric Lindros ?) move and tell them to not draft him. I could easily see CW giving him that advice as well. Sorry, Punishment......but that franchise is a disaster as of now. I know you're in Cali, but c'mon down and join the Colts wagon.

i don't see the bills taking him. losman has done pretty decent as of late.

the raiders are a mess and i think that they would trade the number one pick. just because al davis refuses to do anything that makes sense.

the lions might be the place. i don't see kitna starting there forever. and kitna is a solid guy and would mentor brady well. just as he did carson palmer. lions would be the best fit, even if he did have to go against the bears 2X a year.

please don't ever compare brady to joe montana. to say that he is two years ahead of him is crazy. joe won big games in college. he had that "it". brady has yet to prove that he has "it"

you can't blame brady for not winning the big games. last time i checked, there are more than just 1 player on a team. brady has been let down by other facets (normally defense) in the big games. to say that the loss is squarely on brady and that brady doesn't have the "it" factor is narrow-minded.

Geez, what's with all the Raider hate all over these boards. People saying that Brady is better off going to the Lions or Browns instead of the Raiders. (Key the Twilight Zone music here.)

I agree, until Al Davis leaves the Raiders, the Raiders will continue to be mediocre. Al Davis can not handle the thought of a big name coach coming to Oakland. Now that Davis is old, I believe he is reminded of how he essentially stole the Raiders from the prior owners when he was the head coach. I think he is afraid the same will happen to him and have the team stolen from underneath him. Why else would he have let Gruden go.

I don't know about Detroit though. I mean, look at Harrington. Horrible in Detroit, but doing real well in Miami now. I think Detroit has ruined enough good QBs.

You're right ... until Al Davis leaves the Raiders, they'll remain mediocre (at best). As a life-long Raider fan (and Irish fan as well), it kills me to see how Al is strangling the life out of that organization. As much as I would love to see Brady QB for my favorite NFL team, I don't see that happening (Al wouldn't select this fine of a QB in the 1st round). You have to admit though, Brady is well versed in running for his life in the backfield this year, so he's definitely groomed to work behind Oakland's worthless O line protection! :)

Yeah, his numbers in big games is horrible...i mean look at the SC game last week, 3TD's no pics...what a waste!! I mean its a good thing our D really shuts people down...BENCH HIM in the bowl game, we dont need him ruining any chance we may have at winning.

I think sonomairishfan's comment was directed more towards Brady have never really won a "big" game. Montana on several occassions won games ND was not expected to win. Brady however needed a signature win over USC. Many thought beating #4 Michigan last year was a "big" win, but UM ended up with 5 losses that year. I think he will get his signature win against Florida in the Sugar Bowl.
