Tedford to Oregon?

I was talking to my friend who is a huge Oregon nut (I grew up in Seattle) and he told me there is some word that Belotti may retire or leave the program. He also said that the main name being mentioned to replace him is Jeff Tedford from Cal.

I laughed at first, but then he told me that Tedford apparently isn't happy at Cal because they refuse to get him top notch facilities and he has some sort of out in his contract. While this is all probably just rampant speculation by the Duck faithful, this could be very interesting as we're going heads up with Cal for prospects including Summers-Gavin and Best.

I would say if he does leave Cal for Oregon, Best would almost certainly follow him there. With their Nike built athletic facilities and track team. Would highly suck to put it bluntly!

I remember this being discussed on Jim Rome last year regarding Tedford and a new facility clause and if not met, he was gone. This story may have legs...at least based on what I heard on the radio.

I was going to post the same thing. The facilities debate has gone on for awhile at Cal. I was high on Tedford when the Irish were out sniffing around and I remember hearing about that.

Don't believe it. He could DEFINITELY leave Cal...there IS a clause about facilities.

HOWEVER, he would not leave for Oregon. It's not a step up. He is the type of guy who moves up.
