The Varsity Club boys nominated myself to post a little thread regconizing the best and worst of Irish Envy... SOOoooo...



The year is coming to an end and we thought we'd start a general disscussion about who have been the best and worst of Irish Envy over the last year...

I think everyone would agree that Svo, and BGIF are among our 1 & 2 among others... both well informed and consistent... (although I must say BGI... laugh a little!)

as for third there are too many to list... help me out guys...

BUT! the real question is who has been our worst? The real scum of Irish Envy?

I nominate the obvious...

1.) RalphWaldoEm...
- I do believe we all remember our dearly departed and how nice it has been his sudden demise during the Purdue Game if memory serves... But his constant tirades and yuppie attitude was too much for many of us to handle... I have no doubt he would be the popular choice for number one... simply one of the biggest a- wholes ever incountered via the world wide web

2.) Scooper...
- Not to pick on any current members but what does a guy have to do to get civil reply around here? And a rational thought at some point would help matters as well... I must say this guy borders on emotional instability... I must wonder how many times he himself has been banned from other sites...

3.) ACamp
- Yes I did it... nominated myself, by default... couldn't think of anyone else worth mentioning and I am often in an overly silly/ jestful mood on a site for "maturity and intelligence" so go figure... If I had to pick someone else... I can only think of scooper... that guy's just an ass... :nanana1:

Worst? I'll go with Bruin Bob or Clotho.

Wow!!! Hard to argue against the first choice, I mean hell, his record speaks for itself. He would have one good post, then would go on a streak of posting nothing but crap, no post that would even come close resembling an ounce of thought and/or reason going into them. My 9 month old son makes more sense when he babbles.

I whole heartedly agree with the first choice. I can't think of anyone besides him that contributed anything useful to our beloved website here. Everyone else has been great, well, except for those Illini idiots, but I am going to assume that was an alias that ralphie used to spew more nonsense, then you have the bucnut fans, but even they would post something that came very close to a thought every now and then.

Congrats ralphwaldo, you are hearby the winner of the prestigious "Boner Of The Year" prize. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best posters are easy, its all Svo, Jigga, Scooper, BGIF, and I think Vince Young goes in there too.

As of now it holds: Ralph and Irish Hammer.

My 3 best would be Svo, Jigga and Scooper, in no particular order.

My 2 worst would have to be ralphwaldoemerson and clotho. Although clotho is not as bad as ralphwaldoemerson. I tell ya, rwe was just looney. I don't know how that guy has survived in the real world. My guess would be that rwe is still living in his parent's basement. (whoo, I can say all this because after rwe was banned, he promised never to return to these boards, so I am sure he is not seeing this).

The guy that made all of the posts about the defensive lineman issue a while ago has to go on the worst list. He got banned. I think his name was Irish81 or something like that.

My list.

Scooper, Jiggs, Svo, Oglaigh, and a few others.

I read these guys posts every time and search through the others to find 5 to match their one.

31 may smell like cabbage, but ACamp smells like flammable river water. Come to think of it, so does HereComeTheIrish.

Best picks, Boda (hard to call him Svo, when I've known him as Boda for a looong time), Scooper, Jiggs. Worst, I nominate me. I've been a varsity club member, and just a member in general since the site began, and very rarely have posted. I read everyday, and am making a concious effort to post more.
