Okay... we finished 10-2 on the regular season with our two losses coming to the #2 and #3 ranked team in the BCS. I'd say that's progress, even if it is slight.

So what Bowl do you want to see the Irish in and who would you like to see us matched up with?

As for my prediction, I'd like to see us in the Sugar Bowl against Arkansas. They kept saying that the Rose would select us, however, I think it should be a Michigan and Oklahoma matchup in that bowl. I don't want a rematch with Michigan.

I'm not so sure that Florida can beat Arkansas after what I saw of them today. However, if they did win the SEC, that would be the matchup. The SEC #2 goes to the Capitol One Bowl I believe.

I would love to see that matchup. I don't think Florida is nearly as good as michigan and usc. Sux that Percy Harvin got hurt today though, I would have liked to see him play.

Wisconsin cannot go to the BCS, there is a rule limiting two teams from one conference

I don't want to see us in a BCS bowl. Even against Florida, the worst BCS team (other than us) I'm pretty sure we'd manage to get smoked. This team is just looking to get punched in the mouth by good teams. It can't compete.

Arkansas passing game is quite possibly the only passing attack that matches up very well with our pass defense.

Only problem is they have McFadden on their team. He's a scary guy.

No way Nd deserves a Rose Bowl bid. Getting blown out twice and playing a soft schedule is simply not enough.

With that said, there really isn't much to be desired this year. There are no credible Pac10 alternatives to USC, so unless UCLA can pull off an upset (Go Bruins!), Michigan's opponent must come from another conference. The SEC champion must to to the Sugar (is that right?) bowl, but LSU deserves it more than Nd. OU deserves to go if they beat Nebraska, but I smell an upset there. Regardless, there is already one team (LSU), that deserves the Rose more than Nd. Very disappointing year when so many teams fail to step up. In a normal year, Nd would be in serious jeapordy for not making a BCS game at all.

I think with all the recuirts we want that are going to florida it would be a nice win to show that we canplay with good teams. I think the general public belives we can beat bad teams but not top ten teams and I have no argument agianst it. I am not sure but it may take three years to get ND into a NC game, we need faster receivers, USC corners were faster then are receivers.

ND is going to a BCS Bowl their 10 wins get them in, and they are just too lucrative a draw for one of the BCS Bowl committees to pass up, because besides the NC game it really is all about the money. we probably draw the sec champ in the Sugar.

USC committed more turnovers than Nd today, and it didn't matter. There's a talent gap. At no point in today's game did I think Nd had any chance. They played harder than USC but they just couldn't stop them or overcome the quickness of their offense (Jeff S. must have a 4.8 40 yard dash, and McKnight only caught longballs because his defender outran him)

If there's a Michigan-Nd rematch, I expect the game to be played in much the same way as the USC game (Michigan's offense scores at will, Nd tries to claw back but Brady Quinn gets roughed up).
