I think Ohio St. is the best team in the country. I think they would beat any team the majority of a 10 game series.

I think ND COULD beat them, but it would take a perfect game, which ND hasn't done much of this year. OSU had to fight to beat Illinois, a much worse team than ND, so it would not be impossible, but I'll admit it would be improbable if OSU were to play a great game.

It doesn't look like the OSU game is possible now, with Michigan holding at #2. So your point is moot.

It would take a perfect game, escpecially from the defense. The linebackers are still raw in some areas and I would not want to see Terrail Lambert on Ginn or Gonzalez. Yikes!

You came out of the floodgates talking smack, and you've been backpedaling ever since, trying to make yourself look more "reasonable" so that the people responding to your smack seem like they're the rabid ones. I was disappointed last year, because our offense didn't come through (ie-dropped passes, penalties, etc). It comes down to whether our D can stop their offense or at least slow them down. We would have to play a ball control offense. They went 5 wide against Michigan. If ND does get a chance to play them, that formation would concern me.

As for ND v OSU. ND can compete with anyone they don't hand 5 turnovers to. OSU, UM, USC wouldn't survive a 5 turnover game.

ND offense would perform better than last OSU outing. The brother-in-law is gone. ND's defense would have to create a turnover or two to slow them down.
