funny how Quinn is projected in the top 5 (if not first pick) in this year's draft.... Troy Smith? Last time I saw, he wasn't even in the top 15. HEISMAN!

It must be all of the inferior teams that Quinn plays.... if he had half the INSANELY BRUTAL schedule that Troy Smith has in NIU, Cincy, NWestern, and Minnesota, Quinn would be LOST. ileof:

Nobody at ESPN is going to Point that out. You are probably aware of this, but ESPN is owned by ABC who just signed a new contract with the BIG 10. ABC has attempted in the past to get the NBC contract for ND home games and has failed. It is all sour grapes toward ND. Ratings for commercial dollar is ABC/ESPN's only concern. If you do not believe that - here is an example:

This weekend the OSU/Mich game was set to air @ 3:30 on abc. ND/Army game is set to air @ 2:30. To compete for the Test Rating Pull that is usually done in the first 30 minutes of a program, ABC is starting its coverage of the OSU/Mich game @ 2:30 now.

The shame of it all is that ABC is calling this game the "game of the century" up until this point in time - Putting the cart before the horse - they have to get the ratings to back up that statement. To ensure that they are trying to pull as many non Irish/Army fans away from NBC as possible.

ABC will also double dip the ratings next week with the ND/USC game which I bet will pull a bigger audience than the OSU/Mich game based on the time of the game, the rivalry of ND/USC, the meaning of the game, and basically the fact that there is nothing else on at that time next Sat.

It's funny, tOSU fans SCREAM!!! about the "media bias" that ND supposedly gets, but when tOSU is that is the one gettting the benefit... it's all well deserved and just fine... and ND should stick it and smoke it but when we act like that (stick it and smoke it) we are an arrogant and horrible fan base...
