Well, to be fair, the traffic out there is crazy as I recall. Not that that's an excuse, but that combined w/ the lack of really convenient public transporation (compared to cities like NYC or Boston), I can kinda understand how it happens.

the fact that no one is really from LA and jsut a migrant from elsewhere doesn't help the Diehard fan support either I suppose

i dont know i mean they love thier football teams baseball not so much nfl ehh they could take it or leave it but ncaa football you cant turn around twice with out seeing a miami uf or fsu jersey or maybe its just me as i dont like baseball one bit and nfl is starting to become wwe

i mean i can see how a rivalry would generate hate and some nastyness from fans. but soccer fans hate all the teams including thier own if they dont do well. and ive never seen a stadium full of football fans fighting .if you watch those craziest sports moment things thats all you see is soccer fans running a muck .the only thing ive seen in america that compares is the andrew golata riddick boe fight that was unreall for any one that didnt see that it was an all out brawl of about 20 - 30 thousand people ill look on youtube for it

CFB fans in Florida disappear if there team isn't any good. This year, UF stuff everywhere. Everyone is a Gator. Seminole gear and chatter is fairly quiet. You would think the Hurricane fans left the state. As for all other sports, the Dolphins have die hard fans. The Bucs have a small contingent of Die hards. I haven't met any Jags fans. Seriously, not one. I think the Heat & Magic play in Florida, but no one cares enough to find out for sure.

personally I'd put LA fans way ahead of Florida... not that LA fans are great but they do support their teams... even the Rams and Raiders had support... Raiders left cause Al is a nutcase and Rams left cause Georgia wanted a new statdium and couldn't get it via the city.... but every team here gets support in terms of tickets sold

Personally... I'm not sure LA wants a team... I think Colin Cowheard said it best when he said, "The NFL desperates needs Los Angeles, Los Angeles could do with or without the NFL."... BUt if I were to point to one main reason it would be a statdium... there is no good statdium for Pro football in So cal...

2) Green Bay Packer Fans
3) Michigan State Fans
4) Michigan Fans
5) MLS Fans
6) Most Dallas Cowboy Fans
7) White Sox Fans
8) Yankee Fans
9) U of IL Fans (They just made the liste recently)
10) USC Fans

Not sure where to start, but let me just say that after living in Wisconsin the last 10 years, and growing up in the area, they just annoy the shit out of me. Seems that every news program starts off with some type of Packer news, "Brett Farve took a shit today and ran out of TP, should be ready for the game sunday though". Most of the "fans" in this area don't wear their packer gear if they lose, which has been one nice thing these last few years. But I think its just the fact that I live in this IL/Wisc area and I see more of them than the other 9 on my list. Plus being a lifelong Bear fan, I'm sure that has something to do with it also.

Boston Red Sox fans... my personal "worst in sports"

being a Yankee fan in Boston i guess doesnt help my cause, but i completely agree. when arguing about a game with them they cant take an insult and come back with "money" or "cheaters". No stats to back it up. theyre a mystery to me as why theyre so narrow minded.

also...theres a USC fan at my school....really wish i could knock his head into a wall. And BC fans..some can be bad...some are ok so i guess i wont include them.

Yeah but I honestly can say I believe a lot of that comes from envy of some sort... the topic was who do YOU personally feel is the WORST fanbase in sports...

I would have to agree about us. While we are all the best fans in all of college football, we are the most hated too. It's a love/hate relationship with Notre Dame.
