Too funny here's some commercials that Ohio State will be running on all local channels this week. Seems like it's an oxymoron to have to tell your thug fans they are the best fans in the land but please don't get too drunk beat up Michgan fans or burn your furniture in the streets. It's a must see classic!

That message is a riot...(wait...did I say riot?) The Ohio National Guard has for the next 5 days put into effect a a 6:00 p.m. curfew for all love seats, recliners and sleeper sofas to remain indoors until dawn 11/19/06 so as not to provoke any civil unrest. Details to follow.

Hysterical. Telling tOSu fans not to beat up visiting fans and not to torch LazyBoys is like firing off 100 rounds of paint balls at an armoured tank. Sure you're trying to send a message, but it will NEVER stop the inevitable damage which will occur win or lose after that game.

I've got news for 0$U fans--by about 6:00 Saturday night, they're going to be too depressed to riot.

I don't want to go on a rant, here, but Ohio State Pleading w/fans to behave
makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first battle of Antietam. I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates it's like Raskolnikov filibuster deoxymonohydroxinate...

The problem w/that is not matter if they win or lose have an excuse in there own drunken stupered mind to riot. Not saying they will, I hope don't but either way it could happen.

I know OSU has a bad reputation when it comes to their fans behavior. But, I have to admit that last year at the Fiesta Bowl the vast majority of Buckeyes I was around were well behaved, polite, and courteous. Both before, during, and after the game. More than I can say for local law enforcement, post game. They seemed to be itching for a fight with ANY fans who looked at them sideways.

On the other hand...
scUM fans on 9-16-06, for the most part where absoultley abnoxious.

What the hell does "rant" mean?

I was at the Fiesta Bowl last year. I found tOSU fans to be rude and obnoxious. On three occasions, they made insulting remarks to me and my son. Prior to entering the stadium, one of their fans asked me about Brady Quinn. I mentioned that he would be one of the frontrunners for the Hesiman in 2006. He then shoved me. I was ready to smack him and fortunately my son stepped in and stopped me. I live in Ohio and can't stand the Buckeyes.

I'm still hoping for a brawl with ejections and team suspensions from bowl games.

I'd like to see Teddy Ginn and Leon Hall go at it ala Charles Woodson and David Boston.

Hopefully Ginn and Hall won't go to the NFL and become complete assholes like their counterparts did.

Even I'll admit, as players, I like Hart and Hall a lot.

I was in Dublin Ohio doing a little business and my 6 year old son was w/me. We stopped at a restraunt and got breakfast. He's a great ND fan and knows about half the team roster by name and number. He has his own nick name for Darius. He calls him "The Walker". LOL, I don't think he means it like it sounds, he just gets it from "The Shark".

Anyway were eating breakfast and he has his ND hat on and his #10 Jersey and some IDIOT leaving the resturant stops at our booth get's in points to my sons head and said, "Hey kid, some bird came and shit on your head". I jumped up and put myself between him and my son. It took everything in me not to pound on this freak. I think he realized he messed up because I saw the terrified look in his eyes. I just asked if he cared to repeat that to me and he left post haste.

Of course I'm not saying all tOSU fans are like that, but they seem to have more than their share of idiots.

I guess I can come up with a fairly decent reason. It's not a home game. It's about 1000 miles from Buckeye central. Also, the tickets are substantially more expensive. Thus, most of the trailer trash that seems to be at the heart of the problematic OSU fan base didn't make the trip and couldn't get tickets. the only ones that DID were the middle-upper class OSU fans, ones that may be more well tempered and reasonable.
