Quinn to Texans

This seems the most logical being they will have tons of acctual video footage of what he is capable of behind a piss poor offensive line. Anything would be better than the Raiders. On the brighter side I don't think Al Davis has the brains to take Brady if he were available when they pick. Troy Smith seems more like a Raider type pick in the first rd.. He is 4th rd. talent that they would take with a top 5 pick in the first rd.

doubt that Quinn would go to the Texans. They passed on Vince and Leinhart this year because they think Carr is the guy. I doubt they admit they were wrong with that one.

But please. ANYTHING BUT THE RAIDERS!

I think they like Carr, and I think it's possible they're right to like him.

As for Brady- whoever gets him is going to win a lot of games over the next decade, IF they put some players on the team and give him an o-line. He's a Weis-trained QB, which is to say a machine. He could be a Peyton Manning type in time. As I watched Rex Grossman heave interception after interception off his back foot yesterday, all I could think was, "Man, I wish Rex had had just one year under Coach Weis. He'd be amazing." Because he has all the physical skills, but, being a Spurrier/Zook QB, is a moron out there. Brady always had the physical ability, and now he's got the brains. He's a prototype NFL QB. If he fails I'll be legitimately stunned. I just hope he's not in the NFC.

If there is a God...please send Brady to the Bears. Rex "I'm a baby and I'm afraid to be sacked" Grossman needs to go back to Florida where he came from. Brady Quinn should be playing for the Bears. He is exactly what they need to fix their offense. Then...they will rule the world.

Their is an assload of ND players on the Texans. I would like to see Quinn go anywhere but the F'in Raiders.

I believe that the Lions are the pick. Like you guys have said, I hope to God Brady doesn't go to the Raiders. That's where NFL players go to die...(Remember Randy Moss or Warren Sapp?) I also think the Bills or Redskins are a big possibility. I'd want Brady going to the Redskins because I think that is the perfect place for him with Al Saunders being there. Going from Theismann to Quinn.....

In what may have been the worst draft trade in the history of the NFL, the 'Skins traded a whole bunch of picks to move up in a draft to pick Jason Campbell. He is - like it or not skins fans - the QB of future in Washington.

Detriot or Miami for BQ.

Gary Kubiak doesn't care for Carr now that he's seen him in action. I wouldn't be too surprised if they do go after a qb and trade Carr. He's just not getting it done.

I was really hoping he might wind up w/ the Dolphins, but now they look they're gonna go on a run and not have a high enough pick to get him. Too bad too b/c that would've been the best situation. Good coach (from the same coaching tree as Weis), high profile team that's accustomed to winning, been missing a QB there for quite awhile. Oh well. Now Detroit looks like his destination to me. I just hope Martz doesn't get him killed w/ all those 5-step drops and 5 reciever sets.

shit, I wish he would get drafted by the Bears. Even if he was on the board and it was the Bears that were on the clock for the next pick, f'n bears would take some "prospect" player from Division 2 or 3 school.

Ain't that the truth. I'm still waiting for Cedric "I'm overrated" Benson to make a contribution. The Bears are notorious for picking the worst in the draft...Rex Grossman is the perfect example.

Wow I totally forgot about the Browns! I can't believe I didn't include them. I hope that the Browns, if not the Skins, are able to get Brady. Having Quinn go to Romeo Crennel would be a blessing in disguise because of Crennel's relationship with Charlie Weis. I don't think Brady will go to the Dolphins because they invested so much in Culpepper, and they just want him to sit out a while. He is going to be their QB. So in conclusion, I'm hoping for the Browns or Skins.

also, joey harrington (!?) is actually looking good decent for the dolphins. may be the qb of the (near) future for the fins.

The Browns would be a great situation for Brady, as would (dare I say it) my hometown Lions. The lack of an Oline is a bit of a worry for both teams, but both are teams that seem to be on the brink of something big and just need a couple playmakers.

I'm not sure I read this thread right. Did someone say the 2-7 Dolphins are poised to go on a big run, just because they played an inspired game against the most hyped team in the league? That's an interesting notion. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept right on losing.

But more amazing was someone (two posters, in fact) ripping on how the Bears draft- which is funny, since the Bears have had arguably the best drafts for the past half decade. This year they got a 5th round guy with 8 sacks, a 2nd round small school guy who's starting at safety, and a 3rd round "no position" guy who's leading the NFL in punt returns, and already has 2 TDs. Their whole D is drafted, most of them not first rounders, and their skill position players on O (Grossman, Berrian, Benson) are all home draft picks.

If there's one element of one team that is pretty much above criticism, it's how the Bears draft.

C'mon guys...Brady is going to the Browns, he is from Ohio, his coach is good friends with the Browns coach...oh and by the way, they will probably have the first pick in the draft....he will be throwing bombs to Private Winslow...I really do hope though that he does not start next year...give him a year to sit on the bench and learn the new system...look at what it did for Carson Palmer. Feeding him to the wolves right off the bat might not be such a good idea *ala Matt Leinart

Dolphins are 2-6 :) And I dont think the idea of the Dolphins going on a little run is out of the question. They did it last season, they showed against a good Bears team that they can play good defense and run the ball at the least. They have some easy games left on the schedule (Lions, Jets, Bills) also which doesnt hurt.

I dont think the Dolphins draft a QB in the top 10 anyway. They spent a 2nd rounder for Culpepper last season and arent willing to give up on him yet.

I hope my Bills get him, although Tampa would be the best fit.

A lot of teams will be in the market for a QB this coming draft I could see some teams trying to trade up just to draft Brady.

The Packers would snatch Brady up if they had the chance, word is Aaron Rodgers is a bust. I wouldn't want to be the one who has to replace Favre though.

All of those "easy games" are against teams that are BETTER than they are. That's the trouble with being 2-6. Not many easy games.

Also, it was already a known thing that Miami had a good D. They had been good all year. Beating up on Rex Grossman isn't a big accomplishment- he folds against any above average D. And they STILL wouldn't have won that game without a few flukey turnovers by CHI (Hester's muffed punt, Gage's fumble, Rex's screen pass to Taylor). I think you guys should take your win and be happy. Not many more are coming your way.

Teams that are in 'need' of a QB.

Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns
Chicago Bears - doubt theyll give up on Rex.
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers
Houston Texans
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills
Dallas Cowboys
Washington Redskins
Oakland Raiders

Your list is pretty inaccurate. Some of those teams have young QBs they either like, haven't given up on yet, or don't know about yet and will be likely to give a chance; some of them have still-capable old former star QBs.

I'm not saying Miami will win out and make the playoffs. I think 2 or 3 more wins is very possible though. Beating up on Grossman may not be an accomplishment, but if they can beat him up they can beat up the QBs of the teams I mentioned, and all those teams that I mentioned have far worse defenses than the Bears. I also dont know that it's a given that the teams I mentioned are better than Miami.
