I feel bad for Louisville. How they are still behind three teams is beyond me considering they beat the #3 team in the nation this week. This is why polls are worthless.

well that thinking really makes the polls look like shit. if you get hurt by beating a #3 team that really shouldnt be #3 team ( lets face it every one in the world was on wvu nuts) i dont understand how beating a #3 team that wasnt spossed to be there hurts you just bullshit

I agree, Louisville should be ahead of Texas, Texas hasn't beaten anyone all year, their conference stinks, and they got blown out by OSU. Louisville at least destroyed the number 3 team in the country so I'd say their resume is a little more impressive right now.

That's immaterial. The fact of the matter is the media and the coaches have continuously voted them #3 all season long. Therefore, despite if they were the #3 team or not, they WERE and the team that defeated them should have benefitted from it.

Well, from what Herbstreit has been saying as of late...it's not about week-to-week, its about the "now" of the situation.

That being said, I think Louisville could take Texas... TX is over-rated.
