Shaping up to be a pretty good schedule ND has played.

Notre Dame-Florida is a game I could not wait a month for, nor would I be able to live with myself if the Irish lost. I'd welcome a kicker into my home before Urban Meyer.

If Rutgers runs the table and goes unbeaten, do they play tOSU?

IMO, I'm not sure if our D would be able to handle UF's offense. I'm surely not afraid of their defense, but I think our D would struggle against Leak and Co. I'd much rather play BC or BSU to get the darn monkey off our back.

Bring on UF. I want there to be no doubt in anyone's mind. The one thing ND hasn't gotten this year is respect as a Top 10 team. ND doesn't get that by beating BC or BSU. I refuse to ever want ND to fall into or stay in that 2nd tier of teams. This is Notre Freaking Dame. The team that rallied from down 17 in the pouring rain. The team that drove down the field with under a minute to go for a game winning TD. The team that beat an ACC division winner on their home field. I could go on for hours recounting situations ND wasn't supposed to win, but did. And now were all scared of UF?

I say bring 'em on. If ND loses, I'll live with it. I'd rather go down in a big time game against a big time opponent than win one against a team that won't garner any respect. You don't gain respect as a elite team by beating Boise State.

And I'm STILL not buying into the SEC hype. Auburn did a pretty good job against that UF offense. The same Auburn team that game up a lot of points to Arkansas. I think Weis and Co. are on par with Arkansas offensively, right?

I'm actually the total opposite with them.

That defense as it stands now could cause the O Line major problems.

Florida's offense leaves much to be desired.

Beating SC and winning a bowl game would finally give CW a couple of signature wins.

And beating Urban? Priceless.

I'm not sure, I think Fla. has a loss left in them and I'm lookin for the ol' ball coach to pull off that upset. He burned me this past week by losing to Tennessee so i think he makes it up against florida

Key is winning out

Agreed, Topes.

I think FLA will lose another game. I think SC will lose another one too before ND heads out there.

ND wins out, I don't see any beefs with 11-1. I'm sure there will be some, but fudge 'em.

I agree. Their defense is tough. Is anybody really scared of their offense at this point?

Hey! I've watched Florida from down here all year,I would love to see our LBs stick it to tebow our D-line matches up well with them,bring'em on!!! By the way Florida is a top ten team,IF YOU WANT TO BE THE BEST,YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE BEST!!! even if it's Florida,Like I've said before,CW will win a NC before UM period!!!

Anybody remember that in 92 we had an established quarterback with a quarterback controversy brewing for that next year... And didn't we beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl to piss off Spurrier... Bettis and co.. trampling all over them..

I am really not a big fan omens but all the Irish legendary coaches have won the title the third year and needed that big win bowl win the year before to get recruiting off and running... Its just a scary thought...

And I am laughing it up, at someone with so little confidence in their own 7-1 team. Now let's turn this (once again) into a UF love affair thread and how ND doesn't belong in the same stadium as the Gators.

Obviously only from people that live in reality. If you think we can hang with UF's offense come January you will get a dose of reality. Just like last January.

Its not about UF or Urban, its about our defense not being able to stop ANY team with a good offense. It has nothing to do with Urban.
We all know ND does not have a championship Defense and last year we were able to cover for that because our Offense was great. This year our D is the same but our offense is spotty. How in the fuck do you guys think we will fair any better against a better team in January than we did last year?

Vandy is! The're outgaining the Gators, trailing by 6 with less than 2 minutes left.

Gators are 16 point favorite.

Dores have 3 INTs.
