I bet there would be some money in loading up a couple trucks with used couches and setting up on a corner in columbus the day after the game and have a "couch fire sale" don't you think?

That is the worst gameday environment I have ever seen. Coming from Tennessee, I thought we had some pretty bad fans (along with UGA and Florida) but that was by far the worst I've seen.

You should see the Ohio homers trying to defend, deflect, and redirect this video. I would never go to a game at the Horse Shoe now, let alone bring my kids. It's too scary. Also, did all the litter around the parking lots remind you of the Superdome after Katrina?

I was there in 95. Had some bad things said to my then girlfriend (now wife) and to me, but not to the point of what I had to fight off of her. I've been to a couple games there since, but never wearing another team's colors.

Haha, i went to the game that the video shows...what I experienced, in progression;

1. drinking starts before the sun comes up.
2. all houses on every block are bombarded with friends and visitors who travel in for a good time. all getting wildly drunk
3. people jumping off rooftop onto couches as the drunkeness only just begins.
4. A brand new Blue Chevrolet truck, covered in Michigan gear stops at the end of the street realizing he took a wrong turn. He can't turn back, proceeds try to get down the street with noone noticing. unopened beer cans are thrown at the truck while others pour beer through the windows and into the cab.
5. walking to the game about 8 blocks away, anyone wearing Michigan colors, young or old, are cursed at and told to "rot in hell"
6. getting closer to the stadium, a family is cussed out with 2 young kids practically crying in fear.
7. after the game, as we all know, couches are burned for fun, rubber bullets fly everywhere, and cars are turned over. (win or lose)
8. The next morning you wake up hoping your car is still in one piece.

and That's only my experience in a nutshell. I've never completely disrespected tOSU teams or athletics, but I have lost all respect for their fans and the people who contribute to the problem.

There was a ND alum and band member who went to tOSU in 95. He said that the band got invited to the pep rally. They were honored being invited to the Ohio State pep rally. Come to find out it was a elobrate trick to get them to come in so they could be ridiculed, laughed at, and the ND traditions made fun of. The next day they entered the horse shoe much like the UM band did in the video, unescorted while fans cursed at them and threw beer on them. Then a female truphet player was punched in the mouth.

This alum said is was his worst experience during the three years as a band memeber. He said the only other team that threw anything at them was UM, and those were marshmellows.

Ive been to UGA games and UGA fans are NO WHERE near as bad as these idiots. Ive been to FSU games and they are not bad either. The only fans that I hate other than OSU fans are Miami fans.

Amazingly, i did no see 1 cop or security official during that entire video. Not even a cop car on the street. No campus police, nothing. My sister went to OSU for 1 year and she left because she was scared. I really did'nt understand what she meant until now. I've been to many college games on and off of campus and have never experienced anything like that. Really pathetic. Party, have fun, cheer for your team, but have SOME CLASS for god's sake!!
