Quinn Heisman or Michigan Championship?

I have been pondering this question for a while now.....
What do you think would be better; Brady Quinn winning the Heisman or Michigan stomping over Ohio State? Now, I realize that both have to take place in order for Quinn to actually win the Heisman, but would you guys be upset if Michigan made the championship? Upset even if it meant that Brady would win the Heisman? Personally, I'd be happy with the Heisman because of the drought. A championship for us is almost out the window, but having a Heisman winner after almost 20 long years would be great. Opinions?

I would much rather have Michigan win the NC and Quinn the Heisman. Then we can take over the lead for most heismans. Besides, the NC is out of the question for us. It's eitehr going to be UM or OSU.

If its OSU, OSU gets the NC and the Heisman. If its Michigan, at least we get the Heisman.

I don't know about you guys, but Michigan beating OSU is a GOOD thing to me. Quinn gets a shot at the Heisman, our blowout loss is validated => ND's strength of schedule goes up, and sweatervest doesn't go to the championship. Yeah, Michigan is a rival. whatever. It makes ND look good. I was hoping USC won the championship last year, too. The only way Michigan winning affects ND is through good things.

Four touchdowns with 300 yards passing in the next 3 games plus a win over USC gives Brady a chance. Charlie must help Brady by letting him get those stats before pulling him from the games.

If Michigan beats "THE" OSU...Brady will get the Heisman. With Manningham back in the lineup---Michgan can beat OSU. Let's talk overrated QB's...Smith has an offensive line that gives him all day to throw the ball. (Has Smith been challenged at all this year?) Quinn has pulled out wins with very little help from his line---making him a far more impressive player. His ability to come from behind and win games makes him the clear Heisman winner.

I'm not so sure Brady would get the Heisman even if UM beats tO$U because IF that happens AND Hart has a good game, I wouldn't be surprised that Hart moves to the forefront of the Heisman race. But for voting purposes, if it's either or, I'll take the UM win and a Brady Heisman moment.

I'll take a stomach virus hitting both teams causing the game to be cancelled, Troy Smith winning the Heisman and Brady Quinn going #1 in the draft and collecting 50 million reasons why he is better than troy Smith.

Ill take ND going undefeated the rest of the year, Brady getting drafted in the top five next year, and ND winning two out of the next four NC's.

Quinn winning the H. for sure... but UM winning the title means tOSU doens't so I'm happy with either....

Heisman- Troy Smith
BCS Champ- tOSU

I might even take USC winning the BCS better than tOSU... and believe me coming from ACampy... that says something...

I've been debating this same scenario in my head. After talking to several OSU fans and seeing how cocky they are I'm almost to the point where I'm rooting for Michigan, as hard as that is to do.

Agreed. While Michigan is the rival and thus naturally draws Irish ire, Ohio State is clearly a dirtier program with lower academic standards, more arrests, more NCAA infractions, and all in all, less class. This fact, combined with the Heisman implications of an Ohio State loss make the Irish fan's rooting decision easy. Go Wolverines over the Bucks.

I want Quinn to get the Heisman more than I want UM to beat OSU...by far.

I FREAKING Hate the university of Michigan with so much passion , to me they are enemy number one , not USC . But at the same time I have always had so much respect for the UM program and what they stand for because they are basically our twin , just different names and colors . we are so much alike , i respect them highly , but i still f'ing hate them.with all that said I would definately want Michigan to win before Ohio State. OSU is a bunch of loud mouth punks , ans as said a dirty program. Also Troy Smith is an awesome Ahthlete , I take nothing away from him , but he has so much help around him , protecting him compared to Brady Quinn . TSmith has been sacked 8 times and BQuin 21 times . but their overall stats are simular-
